Wait an hour for owner to show up and they have to turn heat on from basement. Then it takes 4 hours to get heat up to 65 degrees. Luckily we didn’t spend much time in room. The floor was also very damp . We found Allen Harbor Rentals by searching the VRBO website. We arrived to find a property that;s hard to describe. It is a private family home occupied by the owners that is connected to 10 different rental rooms ranging in size from your average motel room to a large suite. Our room was one of the smaller ones but freshly decorated. It featured a king size bed, private bath, TV, Internet, coffee maker and mini fridge and microwave. We viewed two other units that were larger suites, recently remodeled and fully equipped. There was also a cozy little room for continental breakfast and snacks. Everything was newly decorated and clean as a whistle. Our room was comfortable and quiet and our stay was very enjoyable. We met the hosts and told them we would be glad to come back.
