This 3 bedroom home is only 500 feet to Ocean Ave Beach and under a half mile to Harwich Port from this traditional Cape Vacation Rental home with a sun porch and free WIFI. Owners Share Why I Love My Home: Our Beach House is in such a great location, the neighborhood is so kid friendly and laid back, our neighbors are great and we love that we can walk to everything, the Beach is only a hop skip and a jump and we can easily walk into Harwichport for all the great shops and restaurants. Our favorite pastime is having our coffee on the screened in front porch and watching the neighborhood come to life. Let Us Tell You About This Home: Enter through the front porch that is inviting you to sit back and relax and watch the people stroll by on their way to the beach! As you enter the through the porch door the living area is on your right with plenty of seating , Flat screen TV and WIFI. As you pass through the living room you enter the eat in dining area is large enough for family meals, enjoy new stainless appliances throughout the refreshed kitchen. There is easy access to the small patio out back, this is where you will find the gas grill and a small table and chairs. There is Newly Refreshed full bathroom (tub/shower combo) on the first floor. Also, a desk has been added on the lower level office for those guests that still need to remote work or learn during their Cape Cod getaway! On the second floor are three rooms, each with a double bed (2 of the bedrooms rooms have AC units) and a half bath at the top of the stairs. This is a great home and area for families as it is located on a quiet residential street with no thru traffic. While this home does not have a washer/dryer, there is a Laundromat nearby at Cranberry Laundry at 2 Doane Road Harwich Port (508-432-0552) that even has a wash and fold service for your convenience. The only issues would be that I wish there was more lighting (table lamps) and the upstairs hallway light worked when it was dark. The home was wonderful and the location could not be beat. Unfortunately, we had a couple of hiccups at the beginning of the stay - the door lock was broken and we were unable to enter the home for 2 hours. The management company was very apologetic but the process of fixing the door lock took longer than we had hoped when traveling with an infant and 2 year old. The next morning, we realized we did not have any hot water and maintenance did not arrive for 45 minutes after being told it would only be 15 minutes. Once this issue was finally fixed, it was smooth sailing - thankfully! Overall, the home was lovely, the frustration and issues were management related. ##### Christine E. Neighborhood is good for biking and walking. Town is so close by too. Window air conditioners were not my favorite - I generally prefer a sea breeze when staying close to the beach. Outdoor shower could use updating and very limited outdoor space which is typical in this dense neighborhood. Small bedrooms. Kitchen was spacious and functional. Love the “beach house” feel. Absolutely adorable, updated kitchen, had all the appliances and kitchen utensils. The beach was close, and the neighborhood was calm and friendly.
