Located a couple of kilometers north of Canmore, it was overall very quiet and pleasant. Although the highway and the railroad are relatively close, the noise was minimal due to the trees and orientation of the building. The only negative aspect was squeaky doors on the bedrooms and upstairs bathroom. Although the squeaks don't sound loud during the day, they are enough to wake one in the middle of the night.
