The staff was great and the grounds are fantastic. The scenery doesn't hurt either. My wife and i had a very nice stay. If you go check our the vineyards around the area

We have stayed here many times successfully. Even had our friends stayed this year. This time the toilet in the bathroom was not working. Toilet paper left in the toilet was the first clue. After driving all day and moving our luggage in we decided to accept the risk. Bad decision, morning plunger event. I tried to connect with the manager but he would even call me. This Inn is a crap shoot. Sometimes great , sometimes?? Good luck. Ross snowbird from Ontario

I always stay at this property when I’m traveling thru town. It is a charming facility with clean rooms, friendly staff and conveniently close to the highway.

First room assigned on front of hotel faces a noisy and busy highway. We switched to a room further back (no issue doing so) and highway noise wasn’t an issue. Room was nicer, too. The room had a nice fridge and microwave, though the fridge motor was a little noisy during the night. Good place considering the price. We didn’t buy breakfast there, though it did appear to be a fair price for good selection. Our main complaint was the pillows, which were hard and made sleeping difficult (mattress, thankfully, was fine). Corner floor lamp didn’t work in room 116 and one nightstand had no lamp or plugs on that side of the bed. Suggest replacing lamps w ones that have USB ports.

Each room has a deck with chairs, which made it feel more like a vacation. The beds were very comfortable and the fridge was quiet and didn’t wake me up at night like most do. ***BOOK WITH HOTEL DIRECTLY!!!!! We paid over $100 more for 4 nights by booking through Expedia and couldn’t get refunded through price match.

This is our go to place to stay whenever we're in the area. Just lovely, so clean as always. Friendly staff. Wonderful accommodations. We highly recommend.

One of the cleanest places I have ever stayed. Staff very efficient and friendly. Easy access to room plenty of parking. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. Will definitely stay here again.

clean and okay.
Pros: First off the room was clean which means a lot. Cons: The room itself smelled like stale cigarette smoke, not sure why there is no smoking. The road traffic along with the rooms on both side noise we had very little sleep. Cleanliness means alot these days, so we would try a stay here again but only in the section furthest from the road.

Very affordable, low pet fee, and all the amenities of a pricier hotel! Big field to walk the dog and 2 playgrounds for kids. Didn't stay long so I can't comment on the area but it was very comfortable and quiet for a night!

Hidden gem in hometown comfort
We love this hotel in a hidden gem. We stay here as frequently as possible when traveling in the Shenandoah area of Virginia. Very warm and inviting. The breakfast buffet is amazing. Love love love this place

Clean bed, clean rug, clean sink, clean restroom. The thermostat in each room is set up to not be wasteful. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, and the staff has always been friendly each time I've stayed.

Nice little place to stay at.
There was a little mix-up when I arrived. Our pet friendly room had been given away to someone else prior to our arrival. There was some lack of communication. However the lady at the front desk called the manager and they gave us another room and didnt charge us the pet fees. I really have no complaints about our stay. The room was comfortable and its nice to see family owned businesses.

I stayed at this motel in November and returned again on our way through on 1/2/24. This motel is a true gem, I usually prefer hotels with interior entrances, but this motel is simply amazing. Very quiet location, super friendly staff, and very affordable. They also have an onsite restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch that I have yet to try, but both times I’ve seen lots of locals at breakfast. If you’re staying in the area or simply traveling through and want something away from the busy downtown area stay here.
