The house was clean, well maintained and comfortable. It is located on a nice piece of property with a beautiful view of the Shenandoah River. The owner provided a lot of necessities like bed sheets, bath towels, soap, shampoo and even coffee supplies. The house is up to date and has a nice basement entertainment area. The fire pit area near the river was probably our favorite amenity. We enjoyed it on a couple evenings while enjoying the peaceful surroundings. There is also a fire table, comfortable chairs and a grill on the deck. The house is located just about 10 minutes from the Harpers Ferry National Park parking lot and only 15 minutes from Charles Town where there are restaurants, grocery stores and other businesses. We especially enjoyed the deck with gas fire pit and grill. The location is convenient to Harper's Ferry sites. This was our 29th vrbo booking. The kitchen could use some simple additions to make it easier to prepare and eat meals: large serving/mixing/salad bowls, more plates and bowls, mirrors and waste baskets in the bedrooms, more hooks or towel racks in the bathroom. ##### Dave Z. Matthew was very responsive prior to arrival and once we got there everything was in great shape. The house is very clean and well maintained and the yard is as well. We spent a lot of time by the firepit and did some fishing as well, which was enjoyable. Great white water rafting nearby with River Riders and a Wal-Mart grocery store is a short 12 minute drive from the property. Will definitely consider returning! ##### John R.
