Everything was very clean. It was nice to see the history preserved, with modern touches. The kitchen was fully stocked, although we didn’t really use it much. It is very charming on the outside and spacious and very nicely decorated on the inside. We loved the lay out and the ease of check in. Each room is cozy and homey with just the right amount of decor. The hot tub was soothing at the end of the day and was extra special on the cooler rainy weather we got while we were there. We found all the amenities that we needed for a comfortable stay. Harper's Ferry is just a short little 3-4 minute drive and so close to hiking trails and the Shenandoah and Potomac river. This is by far the coolest and most unique stay we’ve had so far. The house is chock full of historic charm with every modern amenity you could ask for. Towels and linens are excellent quality, the kitchen is well stocked, plenty of room for everyone. We are so grateful to have experienced such a unique stay with our dogs. The hot tub is amazing-nice and private with a lovely backdrop! Communication was always fast and efficient. So many thoughtful touches such as a binder with lots of information about the area, plenty of toiletries, gorgeous landscaping and a little bag of other welcome goodies! They truly go above and beyond to ensure you have an excellent stay! We will definitely stay again! Highly recommend!!! ##### Melissa M. This was the only reason I chose this property. And I called to verify it’s operation be for signing the rental agreement. When we woke in the morning I went to make my wife a cup of coffee and there was none in the house.
