Watch the sun rise and set from our south facing island cottage. It is known to be the closest Harker's Island Home to Shackleford Banks, at less than 2 miles. Cape Lookout Lighthouse is in clear view! Fishing, hunting, shelling & other water adventures are all at your fingertips. PETS: Please let us know if you would like to bring a pet. This requires a conversation with the Hosts prior to finalizing the booking. Generally we are ok with 1 to 2 pets totaling up to 50 lbs. There will be a $100 pet fee for each pet applied to the reservation. \*The Dollar General Store is within walking distance and Billy's Grocery is less than 1 mile. \*Seaside Galley Restaurant and Fish Hook Grill are both less than 1 mile. Bring your boat and anchor along our backyard shoreline! The public boat ramp is a 5 minute boat ride away from our property. The property grounds are gorgeous and we spent much of our time outside or on the water. The ferry over to Cape Lookout is just down the road and easy to get to. The day we spent at the beach on Cape Lookout amazing. We had the whole beach to ourselves. We paddled across the sound to get to Shackleford another day. Our last day we headed to Atlantic beach for the Aquarium and putt-putt. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the Fish Hood Grill was. It's \~0.8 mile walk from the house. Would recommend!
