"The Jacuzzi looks like it needs revamping due to cracks. Otherwise it’s good. It took us about an hour from the hotel to Yosemite Village. About the same amount of time back. Do not be misled on the 30 minute to Yosemite…. That is only to the entrance yet you have to drive much further to reach. Any significant spot. The hotel was nice and comfortable. Didn’t have any issues. We did not visit the adjacent restaurant as the menu was limited and on the more expensive side. But then again everywhere around there is going to be the same."

"Very cute old style hotel right on the main drag. Good parking out back, very friendly and helpful check-in person. Rooms are on the second floor with a narrow stairway and no elevator. "Our family really enjoyed our recent stay at the chalet. The place was just what we needed to relax after days of exploring the park’s beauty. Comfy beds, super clean hot tub, well stocked kitchen, cozy wood stove and plenty of seating options all helped our family hang out comfortably. Communication via the site as well as on Facebook was wonderful, especially given the uncertainty of the recent wildfire. Also want to point out that there is a nice trail that runs behind the house to a lookout area where we could see the helicopters dropping the water on the fire from a distance yet we were far enough not to be impacted. Highly recommend this rental!"
