The darling cabin had a lovely view overlooking the bay (not immediately from the cabin, but from the front deck, look to the right and you’ve got a gorgeous scene). The cabin is immediately across the street from the bike/walking trail full of beauty. We were always only an handful of minutes from extreme beauty and perfect convenience. Our kids felt like they were living in the movie Frozen in this quaint chalet. My son, his friend and brother-in law took a quick trip to Pine Knob to ski. We drove up from Detroit Saturday afternoon to ski the evening and stay overnight at the cabin/cottage and then ski Sunday. It was great for our needs. The upstairs bedrooms were pretty roomy, cozy downstairs. It's a bit creaky (it's all wood) so if you are a light sleeper that may bother you as folks walk around in the early morning to make a bathroom trip but overall it was perfect for our needs.
