This rating was not based on the actual hotel or staff itself as the hotel is beautiful with amazing furnished and large rooms, the staff are so helpful and nice and it’s in a great area however the hotel has a couple of serious noise issues going on at the moment. The first one being a new hotel being built on the opposite corner to it which had cement being delivered from 11:30pm till 02:30am one morning which was just rediculous noise and also the construction starts as early as 7am all week so expect to be woken up by it regardless of what rooms you are staying in. Yea this is temporary till the hotel is finished but it is worth noting and I was NOT informed of this work when I booked. The second noise problem which the hotel don’t seem to be able to sort due to no help by the local police is a man who lives across from the hotel who every morning at 6:30am starts to play very very loud music from a speaker out in the street. He proceeds to then just walk up and down the road with his dog. The noise is so loud it will wake you up. It’s like living across the road from a nite club. It’s such a shame as the hotel is amazing and I feel so sorry for the amazing staff as they say the police won’t stop him as they say it’s morning time and not nite time. I wouldn’t stay at the hotel again for these reasons but loved the hotel and everything about it including the amazing breakfast but to not be able to sleep beyond 6:30am is not good enough. ##### Matthew Séjour de 6 nuits en octobre 2025 ### 8/10 – Bien #### Kelly Voyage de couple 2 nov. 2025 Points forts : Propreté, commodités et état et installations de l’hébergement. Staff was accommodating, breakfast included was good too. I loved this hotel. It was so cute and clean. All the necessities that are needed. The bed was amazing. They have a morning breakfast that was very good. Over the top. Anything you could want. The people that work there are very friendly. Makes you feel like family. Location is great. I didn't want to stay in the Old Quarter. But wanted to be close. Straight down the street about 5 or 6 blocks you get to the old Quarter. Then a little farther and you are at Hoan Kiem Lake. Everything is about a 15 or 20 minute walk from the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel. Btw, I am always the person that reads the bad reviews first and then the best and never believes the 5 star reviews. It is exactly what I was hoping all of my hotels this month will be like. I took the standard room and it was very clean and modern. It is very small and compact, you litterally open the door into the bedroom and there is another door for bathroom. It was very hot when I was there, the A/C wasn't very strong but with the fan on, I could sleep well. The door key is also used to power the room and this is common in many places. So during the day, the room got hot and the fridge, warm. It takes about 20 min for the room to cool down once you put the power back on since it is a small room. There was a power outage in the middle of the night so it got real hot, for about an hour while power was restored. I heard power outages are comon in Hanoi so not the hotel's fault. For the price and location, you can't go wrong. If you want your fridge and room to stay cool during the day, I was told (unfortunately only during checkout) that I could have asked for a second key. ##### Marc Séjour de 3 nuits en juillet 2025 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Megan 25 juin 2025 Points forts : Propreté, commodités et état et installations de l’hébergement.
