« The property is super hidden away, which was great for us to have a place to unwind. Very well kept and surprisingly well equipped. Internet was better than we expected, which was great for sharing pictures with others during our trip. Lots of bugs (I would recommend bug spray if hanging out outside a lot), but that’s to be expected this time of year. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely come back! »

« Black Diamond Retreat was a wonderful place for a family gathering. Both indoor and outdoor areas were spacious and gave everyone room to spread out and wander. « We enjoyed our stay at the Manor so much. There were 5 adults and 2 children in our group. The weather put a damper on our visit but we were still able to enjoy the peace and the views around the home. The kids had their pony rides and we were able to meet all the horses they have saved. The home is beautiful and well kept. Communication with the owner was SO easy and helpful. Highly recommend! »

« This is a very old Victorian style house. It has noisy steam heat; barely working locks (some don't work at all), and sketchy electrical. We booked 2br/2ba, which got us the 2nd and 3rd floors (host lives on the 1st floor). Furnishings are old; kitchens are functional, but that's it. Water pressure was VERY low.
