Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Smaller hotel but lots of local shops and restaurants both walking and driving distance. Rooms have been renovated. Nice semi enclosed parking lot for customers.

The walls were very thin and I could hear neighbors, one side talking and then the other coming in at midnight and making a lot of noise. There was also freeway noise, so if you're a light sleeper, bring ear-plugs. Because getting a good night's sleep is essential to me, I rated it 3 stars. The guy at the front desk was really nice, and carried my heavy luggage up the stairs (no elevator). There were no night lights, (side lighting), only overhead lights. Although you could reach them from the bed, they were pretty bright and not conducive to falling asleep. Also, outdoor lights shone in through the bathroom window, and made the room too light. Of course you can close the door and that makes the room dark, which is good. The place is convenient to the restaurants across the highway, which you can walk to.

The room was very nice. Very clean and everything updated and new. We had a large room with window seat, gas fireplace and fresh and soft white robes. Outside of hotel doesn’t reflect what’s inside, but the inside (your room) is the most important.

Clean, recently renovated rooms with a small electric fireplace! Cool lighting features throughout the room as well. The front desk employee was very nice and helpful, and the location was nearby shops and restaurant and a small liquor/food store. Would highly recommend

The hotel manager was wonderful, and the rooms were beautifully renovated and very clean. Their free coffee was delicious as well!

For the price point i would expect that everything in the room worked. The TV was broken and the place was super noisy. Tou could hear neighbors conversations as if they were in the room with you. Right by the highway too so the traffic noise was very loud.

Nice property. Enjoyed the coffee machine. We walked to dinner across the road. Friendly staff. Our neighbors were loud on the second night and our keys stopped working both days. Overall great location and nice place to stay.

The property was very clean and inviting. Our room said the vanity mirror didn't work but it did. Love the robes and the technology. It was peaceful and serene.

We booked a room through Expedia which gave this location a 9.3/10 rating. When we got there is looked seedy, had sketchy people in the parking lot, which was full and a mattress and truck size dumpster in the parting lot. We called Expedia to try to cancel but they said they were holding us to the Harbor View Inn's policys and needed to penalize us $209 for the cancellation. We are still in dispute over this site.

It is right on the highway pretty much on the opposite side from the ocean so most of the ocean sound was covered up by traffic sounds.
