It was very soothing-and very enjoyable. We travelled to Hakone from Tokyo on the Romance train (not really romantic so not sure where the name comes from but is a nice train) and took advantage of the luggage delivery system once in Hakone station to allow us to just start or sight seeing day. Hakone is a beautiful area- wish I had stayed for more than one night. Good #### Verified traveller Nov 28, 2021 Liked: Staff & service #### 食事が素晴らしかったが、少し残念な点も。。 登山電車の公園上駅から直進してすぐでした。 近くにコンビニもあるようです。 今回夕食と朝食込みで宿泊。食事はいずれもかなりこだわっているようでとっても素晴らしかったです。特に朝食は種類が多く、とっても満足でした。今回コロナ禍のせいか部屋食だったのですが、運んでいただいた従業員の方が何度も部屋を出入りされるたびにドアを大きな音で絞めていくのが気になりました。 お部屋は清潔感があり、落ち着いた空間。 残念だったのは、大浴場に露天風呂がなかったこと。翌朝男女が入れ替わっていて逆側のほうにはジャグジーが露天でしたが、両方とも露天でないのが非常に残念でした。 脱衣所も暗く、洗面台でドライヤーをかけると大量の埃が舞っていました。 2021 ### 8/10 Good #### Satoko Sep 11, 2021 Liked: Property conditions & facilities, room comfort #### 定員６名の和室を独り占め 強羅駅からの距離は大したことないものの、国道からホテルへ向かう坂道の傾斜がキツかった～ 近いのに駅からの送迎バスがあることに納得。 １度チェックインしたら二度とあの坂を上りたくない！ため食事のために駅方面へ行く気が起きず、近くのデイリーヤマザキで食料＆お酒を調達。今回は和室をチョイスしたので、まずは温泉につかってから布団を敷いて部屋でゆっくり地ビールで晩酌開始。 翌朝は６時から温泉へ。朝日を浴びながらのジャクジーはとっても気持ち良かった。７時半からはオプションの和朝食を。鯖の塩焼きは脂がのっていて炊きたての白いご飯がとても進み、お代わりしてしまった。 ８時半過ぎにチェックアウトし、開館時間に合わせ徒歩で彫刻の森美術館へ。今度は坂道は下りだし国道は平坦なので、登山電車の線路沿いにのんびり歩いて15分程度で到着。 facilities, room comfort #### 女性に優しいという意味がわかった 基本的に女性へ優しい宿泊先だということがわかりました。 部屋に着いて、電気ケトルに水を入れるのもひと作業ですが、何時に入れたという紙とともに水がたっぷり入っていたことが、最近あまりないことだったのでなんとなく嬉しかった。 よかった点は部屋が広いということ、 大浴場へ行くための中の見えない手持ちカゴが置いてありこれで行けばいいのだなとわかったこと、加湿器がある、美顔スチーマーのナノケアーがある、部屋がかわいい、などやはり女性へ気遣いがあるように感じました。 浴衣とスリッパで館内移動可です。何度も温泉に入りに行くのには良いと思いました。
