The latter part was true - beds are clean and very comfortable, room is very clean and tide, the bath within the room is simply awesome. But the remained half of our expectation turned out false after we had the French dinner. Apparently all the dishes looked great, but everything was simply too salty, thick-tasted, and sometimes too fatty. We, two adults, paid USD900 ish in total for everything including the dinner, and we would give USD400 more or less for other stuffs apart from the dinner, then we couldn't justify the remainder of USD500 for the dinner for two adults... You can have way better dinner experience for two adults at many restaurants in Tokyo only with USD150\. Even in this Hakone area, USD300 would afford you way better French dinner courses for two.
