Great 1 Night Stay!

The hotel was very nice and quiet. It was clean and check in was pretty easy. You get to use an onsen as part of the hotel and there is also a shuttle that takes you down to the train station.

Smelled bad like mold/mildew, woke up coughing from it. It’s hard to walk to with limited shuttle service. No warning about 45 degree incline to get to the hotel. Didn’t get the full ryokan experience because the futons looked suspicious. The area is pretty would try a different hotel nearby. Didn’t try the onsen at the hotel.

A but farther out from Hakone-Yumoto station and rooms are a bit dated, but staff are very nice and helpful. Private family onsen was small but a great experience. On-site breakfast was much better than expected and the connected restaurant was very convenient too. Would stay again.

Amazing onsen hotel!

I stayed here with my two small kids on the ground floor traditional room and it was awesome! The front desk stocked us with towels, and yukata for our stay. Breakfast was delicious, traditional, and the quality was great. The staff is so nice! The area is perfect for walking into town, or driving to the sites. We will def return!

Great onsen experience. The hotel rooms are old and may need some updating, but they are clean. The outdoor onsen is great. The hotel is connecting to another hotel and they can provide shuttle service. The only thing I am wondering is that there is no lazy river observed which was listed in the property details. The half board meals are awesome especially the traditional Japanese style dinner. We stayed for two nights and had two beautiful dinners.
