The breakfast and dinner every day were fantastic, but the person waiting on us made our experience so much better. She was thoughtful, communicative, and very nice. The in room onsen was magnificent, the beds were the most comfortable we had stayed in all trip, and the spa treatment we received was excellent. This is the one. I would fly all the way back just to be here again. We only got to spend two nights here and we wish we could have stayed forever. The moment you get to Gora station the transportation to the hotel and then the arrival immediately puts you in a state of peace and relaxation. The hotel staff are all lovely and very helpful. They truly care and know what it means to be in hospitality. The dinner and breakfast both days was so tasty and unique. The dinner experience itself is worth the entire stay. The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed and the private onsen is a real treat. The staff was unbelievable, the open air baths were delightful and peaceful, the kaiseki dinner and breakfast were both exquisite.
