Having said that the staff were very friendly and made the effort to help out westerners who could not speak chinese. Appreciate the upgrade to fit extra bed and enjoyed our stay. Just 10 min walk to eating places, fruit and vegetable market. Only issue was taxi called by hotel - dropped us at Domestic instead of International airport despite given destination in Mandarin. We had to drag our luggage 100m to the terminal. ##### Verified traveller ### 8/10 Good #### Verified traveller Sep 19, 2015 Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service 만족 ##### Verified traveller ### 6/10 Okay #### Verified traveller Jul 12, 2014 Disliked: Staff & service #### 改装前後でホテルの状況に改善は見られない 仕事で年１\~２回海口へ行くため利用しています。リゾート地であるが故他のホテルより空港までの通勤が便利という理由で利用しています。以前はメリタスマンダリンでしたが経営者が変わった様です。昨年宿泊した際は改装中で今回の利用に際し期待していましたが、ホテルのロビーやレストランが綺麗になりましたが、これといった変化を感じられませんでした。室内は改装されていませんし浴室内のアメニティも変化なし。朝食バイキングの食事は麺類、サラダ類、パン類、お粥、ベーコンエッグ類のコーナーがありますが、ホテルの利用客が少なく朝９時に利用しても回転が悪いためさめていて美味しく感じられません。ホテル従業員の接客態度も暇な為か客への配慮はこれといってありません。旅行で利用されるのであれば海辺に近い他のホテルの利用をお勧めします。このホテルの周囲にも食事する処はありますが、現地人もあまり利用していませんし中国語が話せないと注文は不可能です。（写真がメニューにありません）ホテル内の中華レストランも夜７時の利用で私一人だけでした。 ##### Verified traveller ### 8/10 Good #### Sunny city, Singapore Jun 23, 2014 Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort #### Convenient location We found a hot pot buffet at a near by restaurant because we saw the huge banner of the restaurant from our hotel room. We could even buy a china sim card at a road side stall across the hotel but you need to be able to converse in mandarin.We paid cny 780 a night excluding breakfast which I think is pricy for Haikou.
