This cruise ship's itinerary includes the following: 1st Day: Arrive at Tuan Chau marina by noon for embarkation. During lunch, sail through South East Halong Bay past Chicken Rock, Finger Islet, and Frog Islet for row boating and kayaking. Visit Pearl Farm at 4:30 PM. Reboard for a sunset party, barbecue dinner, evening activities, and overnight aboard the ship. 2nd Day: After breakfast and Tai Chi on the sundeck, head to Surprise Cave for Halong Bay views from a 100-stair climb. After check-out, take a cooking class on the sundeck. Lunch is served as the ship returns to Tuan Chau marina by noon. Shuttle bus services transport guests to Hanoi by 4 PM.
Guests must contact this cruise ship 2 days in advance to arrange transportation from Hanoi- Old Quarter or Hanoi Opera House, which is 4 hours away by car. The daily shuttle from Hanoi to Ha Long departs between 8 AM and 8:30 AM (surcharges applicable). Following the cruise, a van will transport guests back to Hanoi.

スタッフと景色はお勧めです

電話がつながらずホテルの迎えに来てもらえるのか不安でしたが、Hotels.comの方のおかげで連絡が取れました。部屋は写真とは違う感じでしたが掃除はきちんとされており船のスタッフは皆さん良い方たちばかりで楽しく過ごせました。

Although being initially excited about our stay on the Majestic... combined with the anticipation of experiencing the Halong Bay environment, the Majestic (and its service over two days) definitely needs improvement: Firstly, we had RATS in the ceiling and walls... and not just a squeak, but continual squeaks and knawing at the timber boards. In other words, no sleep for both night!!! Thus, when addressing this to the crew and hosts each night, one could see that there was no intent to fix the problem. Even our suggestion of bait-poison (drying out bait so that there is no smell) was not an option... despite the obvious 'sawdust' on the dining tables showing that the boat will one day inevitably sink. On top of that, one wonders what happens in the kitchen when everyone is trying to sleep. Secondly, we were NOT allowed to swim in the sea during 'down time': it was the second day, and being so hot, there were a few spots one could swim (e.g. kayak to a beach)... However, even though we were given beach towels for the day out (being strange that we were given these), this meant nothing... as other staff 'apologized' stating that there is no swimming in sea. The only swim option occurred on day three in a collective area in the morning And additional to our second day on this cruise, we must have visited 'Pearl Farm' at least THREE times. Overall, more thought is needed for those customers doing three days/two nights.. along with something done about the rat infestation.

クルーズ船自体の老朽化は、感じましたがとても清潔です。スタッフが一生懸命掃除をしている姿を見かけました。 各部屋に専用トイレ、シャワーがあります。 シャワーはトイレとは独立しておりとても綺麗です。バスタオル、タオル、アメニティが付いています。 一日目の18-19:00はハッピーアワーでドリンクを一つ買うと1つ無料になります。 私が行った時はフンさんという若い男性の方がガイドでしたが、細々と気遣ってくださりとても快適でした。 私は英語が初級レベルでしたが、周りの乗客も簡単な英語でコミュニケーションを取ろうとしてくれたり、特に困ったことはなくたのしめました。 日本人はおろかアジア人も乗船していませんでしたので不安な方は日本語ガイド付きのツアーにされることをオススメします。 同等レベルのクルーズ船でお手頃な価格でとお考えの方にはとてもオススメです！！

Great service from local Nancy at Majestic & tour guide Lee throughout our tour .... HaLong Bay is fascinating & a real must experience with the accomodation & meals on board great. Will be recommending to all our friends.

Could'nt stay overnight due to bad weather

What they don't warm you about when you're booking is that if the weather is bad - you cant stay onboard overnight. There is of course no offer given to do it another night or a refund of any sort. So sadly we missed out - and IT WAS DISSAPOINTING! They took out the out on day 1 and we were able to have lunch, see hthe cave and a pearl farm but then we had to have dinner at 6 pm onboard and were taken to a hotel for the night. And the next day were taken on a small boat to do some kayaking and were served lunch on the same lil boat (which was not impressive at all). Im sure it would have been an excellent experience had the weather been okay - as the food on board and the staff were really nice.

Better results value for money elsewhere.

The pickup was an hour late which turned out to be an hour off our time on the boat which was unacceptable. The cruise was great, the food good and plentiful, unless you're vegetarian. ...the vegetarians got a very raw deal. The one thing that annoyed me was we got offered fresh fruit juice at breakfast and were charged $3 for it on our bar bill. The drinks on board were very expensive! Also a pity the bay is so polluted! Very little Majestic can do about that though
