Having spent my summers on the Bras d’Or lake as a child I knew what I was getting with regards to lake (it is clear, warmer than the ocean, salt water —perfect to me!), but this was my first stay at Lakeside Luxury. I booked the cottage which was a great option for privacy, the screened porch was perfect for the mornings and evenings to get away from bugs. "The entire experience from the start to the end was very well done. Easy communication, easy arrival andbwell laid out space inside that was decorated in a modern layout with nautical feel. Very comfortable bed, great water pressure, excellent kitchen and family room area. Had everything you needed for your stay, and even some things we hadn't even thought of. Well done you two!"

"This is a fantastic place for a family mix of ages. Great deck overlooking the lake. Kayaks were a big hit with the older kids. The house itself was ideal with well appointed kitchen, 5 bedrooms and the 2 bathrooms were a godsent. The size of the place meant 9 people and a dog were never on top of each other and the large living room was excellent for evening get togethers. The wifi and TV were good but as noted the phone coverage was next to non-existent (this is the fault of the service...

"Breathtaking area. Wonderful area to get out with the family and relax. Quiet, peaceful area even with other cabins. Amazing morning sunrises. Only slight disappointment was finding out the BBQ was shared between three cabins. Photo of our cabin showed it on the deck. That said, will definitely be coming back!"
