Upon arrival the front door was broken. Your personnel was talking among themselves and not noticing me at the door until i beat on the door. After getting in and moving up to check in no one said hello go to hell or anything else while standing in front of them talking to each other. Finally I was checked in and made a recommendation that they make a makeshift sign and let customer to lift up on the door handle yo get in. Having been in business for 37 years ,stop what your doing recognize your customer and welcome him/ her first. Then let them know you will be right with them. Just a suggestion.

The bathroom was not clean. Shower had mold. Refrigerator was loud and made sleep difficult.

Check in took way too long, staff was not very friendly or communicative of issues. Room was not very clean, refrigerator was making loud unusual noises. Hide a bed was bad even for a hide a bed. Manager didn’t respond to questions or complaints.

The hotel was not very clean. I was there for a week and they change towels and make beds every other day, but never once cleaned my floors. Also, the shower was pretty dirty and never got cleaned. My biggest problem was a noise complaint. I called at 12:30 due to a loud party going on next door and in the hall. The guy working said they had received multiple noise complaints and that he could just come up and check, but couldn’t do anything. When I called again at 1:45 he said that he hoped the morning manager would catch them. At 7??? The morning manager was nice and said that they had received multiple complaints, and gave me details about others complaints. He apologized and said he’d talk to the night manager about how to handle it in the future. When I checked out the GM was there. When I mentioned it, she said I was the only one who had complained and no one wrote it down in the book. The fact that she lied to my face and took no accountability for it was ridiculous. I will need to stay in another long-term property in a few months and will not stay there again. Luckily there is another long stay hotel directly next door and will just stay there.

Unfortunately, our team was never able to determine the source of the noise. Very good stay. Kitchener is very convenient. Staff at check in was a young guy. Very polite and efficient. At check out a lady also very nice and great. We got two dogs and the area for pet release has grass and bags with trash cans. Very nice stay. Comfortable beds. Pillow a little too puffy for me but all good. We will be back.

Would not recommend!
When I got to the hotel, I stood at the counter for 5 minutes before I decided to call the front desk, hoping someone would come out and see me. I called the hotel 10 times in a row before a man came out to see that a customer was standing there. He did not apologize, but rather asked, “Checking in?” I got off the elevator and the carpet while walking to my room was disgusting — stains everywhere, food particles — it looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed or the carpet cleaned in months. I got into my room and it smelled extremely musty. There were stains on the couch and the comforter. I ended up calling to request a refund and did not even take my coat off. I felt disgusting when leaving the hotel room. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The only plus is it is pet-friendly, but they need to deep clean the hallways regularly and need to ensure the rooms are clean.

Currently our fourth floor is under renovation to include carpet and wall finishes in the guest rooms and corridors. The remaining floors will be completed in the first quarter of 2024. Overall great 2 night stay. Only complaint is the pull out bed wasn’t comfortable according to my teenage daughter. Will stay again and bring a memory foam mattress pad next time to try

We generally stay at Home 2 Suites when we travel, we were very disappointed with the cleanliness of this hotel, the carpet was badly stained throughout the hotel, hotel didnt not reflect the cleanliness we have grown to expect while traveling. The location was great, easy to access and close to several eateries.

The carpet in the hallways was very stained. The hotel was updated somewhat but not in every area. We didn’t have hot water so we had to change rooms. The breakfast was good.

It was a great experience mostly. I tend to clean my room a bit with wipes and checking for bed bugs and I noticed some hairs around the toilet seat which was gross but easily handled by me. I know the room turnover can be quick but for the most part everything was clean and efficient. The service was wonderful though and the area was quiet but close to everything.

I didn’t realize the hotel was pet friendly when I made the reservation. I quickly noticed it was a pet friendly hotel by looking at hallway carpet with all the carpet stains. The carpet should be changed out and cleaned regularly.

Pool bummer
It was a great stay until we were ready to get in the pool at 10. We went to the pool around 10 o’clock as a last hoorah before we checked out. We get down there and it was being cleaned. My sons were very disappointed as was I. Most people like to visit the pool before check out. Please have the pool cleaned earlier than 10 o’clock for future visits.
