Summary: What A View...watch the sunrise over the Little Lagoon in Gulf Shores with your morning coffee s pelicans and herons search for their breakfast in your backyard of marsh and shallow water. This new build beach house has not only incredible lagoon views but also has easy walkable beach and pool access. The beach boardwalk and pool are less than 25 yards from the driveway. This gated beach front community features basketball, tennis/pickle ball court plus a beautiful pool and uncrowded beach. The Space: Nestled in Laguna Key, a Gulf Shores gated neighborhood at the end of W. Beach Blvd, SALTY SEAHORSE is a prime destination for beautiful views, family fun, and easy beach access. From the back decks, with a cup of hot coffee in hand, watch the breathtaking sunrise and the marsh and shallow water of Little Lagoon come to life. It doesn’t get more peaceful than this. As the sun burns off the morning haze, load up the family and beach gear in the wagon and/or the 6-seater golf cart for a short easy walk/ride to the private beach or community pool. In the afternoon, challenge other family members to a game of tennis, pickle ball, or basketball on the multi-use court. Located west of Laguna Key is Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge with an abundance of walking trails to explore and educational opportunities to learn about the birds and other wildlife that inhabit the area. At the end of the day, you and your family will want to be back on the beach to watch the most spectacular unobstructed views of the sunset! SALTY SEAHORSE has 6 bedrooms and 6 ½ bathrooms on two levels. Each bedroom opens out onto a front or back deck. On the main level (2nd floor), the master suite has a king bed , double sinks, and a large walk-in shower; the 2nd suite has a queen bed and tub/shower combo. This level also boasts a large open living/kitchen/dining space. Both the front and back lower decks can be accessed from these areas. The long kitchen island has seating for 6 and the dining table can seat 8\. A highchair is provided for the use of a baby or toddler. The ½ bath and laundry closet make up the rest of the main level. Upon reaching the top level (3rd floor), you will notice the cozy loft area which is the perfect hangout for kids with a queen sleeper sofa, extra seating, a TV, and a kitchenette with a sink, microwave, and full-size fridge. This space is perfect for a movie and popcorn night for the kids or a quiet coffee drinking morning for the early birds! The 2 back bedrooms are a king suite with large walk-in shower and a queen suite with walk in shower. The lagoon views from these rooms and back deck are stunning! The 2 front bedrooms are a king suite with walk in shower and a full over full bunk bed suite with a tub/shower combo, also accessible from the loft. The views from these rooms and front deck are of the lovely neighborhood and offer a peekaboo view of the gulf. This beautifully decorated home can sleep up to 16 people. Three of the bedroom closets have pack n plays for the sleeping comfort of babies/toddlers and peace of mind for mom/dad when it comes to not having to pack one from home. Lastly, the oversized garage has parking space for 2 vehicles as needed on rainy days for loading/unloading, a golf cart for convenience, a space for storing beach stuff and to play yard games on rainy days, and a large kennel for your family pet to stay when you are away from the house. The layout is fantastic for multiple families and gave the necessary space for quiet times and naps. As a vacation home, king beds and multiple bathrooms are optimal for comfort and convenience; this home has both. The decorator/designer of this property really put a beach vibe in the home yet maintained a classy feel. The decks on both sides of the house were very refreshing and peaceful. Being that we were there in off season, the neighborhood was very quiet and felt safe. The location is excellent for beach access!! This home does invites pets to stay and we appreciated that. As with any home in this area, they are built up so expect lots of stairs. We brought self standing pet gates to protect the stair areas since we had toddlers. We had a wonderful stay at the Salty Seahorse. We are a large family group (4 couples, 2 kids, 1 infant, 1 20-something) and we had a wonderful stay. The house is very comfortable in accommodating a large group and is well appointed for cooking and family meals. The golf cart was a great addition in helping get our gear and little ones to the beach, which provided lots of family fun. The bay views are beautiful! We hope to stay again. ##### Zoe D. There was plenty of space. The proximity to the pool and beach were walking distance. Due to the house being located in a gated community, the beach was not extremely crowded so it was peaceful and enjoyable.
