You have outdoor and 1 indoor pool that you have access to. Outside the pools there are boxes for the kids to leave and take beach toys. There is a very nice family friendly atmosphere. Mi kids love to find toys in every pools. The beach is beautiful!! Every place was clean and very well taken care of. One consideration is the distance to grocery stores and restaurants. The wallpaper in bathroom was peeling to show considerable amount of mold/mildew. The tub faucets were molded. The toilet ran constantly. The outlet for the coffee maker had a short (I had to hold the plug in till it was done brewing). The sleeper sofa did NOT have bedding or linen. When I called one persons said they would have delivered the next day another person (supervised Kristen) suggested I go buy some. The Plantation was a nice place to stay until VACASA took over management. The patio furniture was so dirty we had to wash it before we could sit. The kitchen was woefully under stocked - 4 coffee cups smaller than any I’ve ever seen, pots and pans obviously for people who only eat out, and the toaster caught on fire! Actual flames came from the toaster. The dishwasher was barely attached and didn’t fit right. The ice maker never worked. The garbage disposal had a loose piece and kept slipping. The living room had one acceptable couch and two ridiculous, no one would sit in them for more than a minute bamboo chairs. Exactly how are 6 or even 3 people supposed to watch a movie like this?!?! For the record, we had 3 people and it was cold which meant more time in the unit binging Netflix than we would normally do. We had to scrub an Adirondack chair from the balcony and bring inside so the three of us had places to sit and watch TV. And the couch is a sleeper sofa- thus it accommodates 6, but the unit provided no pillows or blankets besides what was on the beds so if someone was on the sofa they would have sheets and nothing more. Lights and lamps frequently didn’t come on and the ceiling fan (which we needed when the toaster caught on fire) didn’t work. And little things like a broken towel rack in the bathroom that just tell you they don’t care how you perceive them. However, at the time we went: there were only 3 outlets out of the whole property that worked, the main bedroom shower was extremely clogged, and the toilet wasn't the cleanest (had some urine spots and hair). Other than that, you're paying for location (it's right on the beach) otherwise this property would've barely gotten 1 star from me. ##### Angélica M. If you want to be close to shopping, activities then this is probably not your best choice... but... if, like us you were looking for a good, secure, clean location near the beach where you could walk and enjoy the fresh air and waves - then this is the place. Even though the weather had the swimming in the Gulf off-limits, there are several very nice, large, clean pools. Also - we found the Sassy Bass grill (located about 250 feet from the condos) to be an awesome, 'beachy'-vibe place to get some outstanding food at very reasonable prices. We had zero bad experience in our dining there... it was ALL good! All in all we got a great place to stay at very reasonable rates in a secure (active security on site) area.
