It's in a good location as far as the lagoon and beach go, but should not be available in its current state.In short, this house is not in rentable condition. The listing photos are clearly years old, as the home has not been well-maintained and is in a state of disrepair. For example:- Bedroom, closet and patio doorhandles coming off/falling off- Master bath toilet disconnected from floor (unusable)- Master bath sink faucets disconnected from countertops- Dock has plant life growing through it such that it's almost impassable- Fire pit overgrown and unusable- Trees and shrubs behind and beside property all overgrown from years of neglect and space unusable- Deck chairs broken and unusable- Old, rolled up rugs on patio are tripping hazard- Living room rug is way past its lifespan and very, very, very dirty and stained- No batteries in TV remotes (we had to buy and replace)- AV cabinet coming apart (it's gonna fall apart if touched)- Many pots and pans unusable/need to be replaced- Cracked floor tiles throughout- Dryer didnt work (we pulled out a lint clog that was easily years old)- Lots of mold growing in master shower enclosure (caused respiratory issues for us)- No curtains, blinds or drapes (open to sunlight in all rooms)- Internal stairwell filthy, stained and had odor- Trash all around property (has been accumulating years) ##### Jason P. Pool is nice but the overgrown plants by the deck was not pleasant. The pool also has no lights and most bedrooms don’t have blinds. Notified rental company upon arrival that pool was very cloudy and needed attention. No one came for several days and as a result algae was in the pool for the rest of the week. Coffee maker totally dead, doors falling off hinges and would not close, toilet seat very loose and could not get rental company to respond to these as well as multiple other issues. Being unable to get anything taken care of, I contacted the rental company and asked to communicate directly with owner but was denied. Asked to speak with the manager and was told they would call me back but 4 days later never heard from or saw anyone to resolve reported issues. If you don't mind swimming in a green pool and doing maintenance on the facility yourself, then you might consider booking this place. ##### Steve S. Here are some things that were not so great. 1- the pool has no lights for nighttime swimming2- the pool was dirty and water cloudy the entire week. 3- the pump did not work properly to circulate the water, so sunscreen created a film on top of the water. 4- the dishwasher does not stop washing if opened during a cycle (no adding or removing a dish)5- no gate at the top of the steps on the lower deck. HUGE safety issue for small children. Had to use a baby gate, which my husband tripped and almost fell down the steps. 6- no blinds on the windows in the front so lacks privacy for those occupying those rooms. 7- the code for the door did not work when we arrived, had to call for a new one. 8- the door lock on the main door does not work properly as it only turns halfway when the code is entered, making it inconvenient to have to get upto let people in. 9- had 3 broken chairs on the porch when we arrived (this was addressed quickly)10- furniture on the lower porch was hard & uncomfortable to sit on. 11- landscape needs some up keep especially around the dock. Overall we had a great stay and would love to stay again if these issues are addressed. It easily handled our seventeen people. The living area, dining, and kitchen are all open to each other and provided a nice large gathering space. The home is equipped with nice furnishings and upscale appliances. Check in was a breeze. The only issues we had were the code on the door gave us some trouble when we arrived, but we called the number on the reservation and they were able to give us a new code very quickly. And for whatever reason, the ice maker on the fridge wasn’t making ice. Not sure if it was turned off or something, but we couldn’t figure it out. Again, wasn’t an issue because with a group our size, we had purchased bagged ice anyway. All in all, this is a beautiful home in a great location, that sleeps a large group. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent it again. Choose this one with confidence. ##### Donald T. The pool was dirty and pump was out when we arrived but they got that fixed. There were 15 of us staying there and there were not enough towels to go around. We had to wash towels every day.
