Very nicely decorated giving it the beach life feel to escape your everyday life. There are two pools, one is oceanfront and the other across the street as well as a fishing pier. There is an elevator and carts to transfer luggage. I have plenty of beach chairs and toys on the deck to bring to the beach. As you enter, the kitchen is on the right and fully equipped for food preparation and service. Wine glasses, ninja blender, drip coffee maker(supplies for this aren't guaranteed), plenty of drinkware. as well as pots and pans. The dining table seats six, and there are two bar chairs. The first bedroom on the right has a twin over full bunk bed as well as a twin pullout trundle to sleep 4\. There is also a TV in this room as well. The bathroom attached to this bedroom can also be accessed from the main living area and there is a full size washer and dryer. The living room has a queen sleeper, loveseat and chair as well as a 55 inch TV with Netflix and cable TV. In the master bedroom there is a very comfortable queen mattress, wall mounted TV, and an ensuite bathroom. The deck off the back side has beautiful ocean views as well as a direct view of the pool. It has four chairs for relaxing outside as well as a loveseat couch with small dining table. You can also find plenty of supplies of beach chairs and toys out here to use. Gulf Village condominiums not only have the beach right outside; they enjoy a private fishing pier on the Little Lagoon across the road behind the cottages. The condo is on the third level, with the elevator right around the corner. There are two pools, with one just below the condo. Grills are poolside and parking is underneath the building, with carts to transport your luggage to the condo! Bring only what you need; there is a full size washer/dryer in the extra bathroom.. The property is 1.3 miles away from The Hangout on West Beach. Wonderful seafood restaurants are nearby, and the Tanger Outlets are a few miles up Highway 59 in Foley. Just a couple of blocks up West Beach Boulevard, there's the Beach House Kitchen for dining out as well as S&S Seafood, which will fry, blacken, or steam seafood for you to bring back to the condo. Janino's Pizza is just across the street for easy take-out. Billy's Seafood, located on County Road 10 on Bon Secour River, is great for purchasing fresh shrimp, and preparation instructions are even given upon purchase. Rouse's Grocery is prevalent along the Gulf Coast from New Orleans to Orange Beach, and we have one a couple of miles away on Highway 59 in Gulf Shores! You can find wonderful seafood and Louisiana specialties there! RESORT AMENITIES \-Poo-Fishing pier across the street THINGS TO KNOW - Please note that Gulf Village has routine pest control on the fourth Thursday of each month. Parking notes: One parking pass will be in the unit for your arrival and a bill for these is added to your stay $40\. If you are coming with two cars, please let me know and I will bill you an additional $40 and ask my cleaning lady to leave one out. Please do not forget to ask me if you have two cars or there will only be one pass. No more than two parking spaces are allotted per unit. Parking spaces are not assigned. numbered. No boats, trailers, RV's or jet skis are allowed. Paid overflow parking is available at Pier 33 down the road. This is a convenience store with a lot that allows overnight parking. Go inside Pier 33 to pay the overnight parking fee. This fee will not be reimbursed.I would also like to add that the elevator is a convenience, there are times it may not function because of our close proximity to the beach and other guests misuse. Condo had not been cleaned when we arrived. Miscommunication between owner and cleaning service. Was handled promptly but delayed full checkin for 3 hours. Building was old and needs a lot of TLC. Its a quite area on the beach which we loved. The deck view is amazing. Balcony was on side of building not on front overlooking Gulf. Furniture had wear and tear and was uncomfortable because of all the dirty marks. No maid came around with clean towels. Had to buy our own tp. Building was old and showed it. Elevator was in bad shape it worked but the inside was crusty. Was told by a previous tenant that our room was the way it was because we brought our dog and those rooms were rarely "kept up" ##### Jeff B. So close to the beach. Gulf view from the balcony and even from the sofa inside the air conditioning. The condo is clean, with a focus on comfort. Kitchen is updated and efficient for breakfast. Ice is available. Host is responsive and invested in Alabama. People I have met around the condo are friendly and recommend some great places to eat. The food is remarkably delicious. ##### Joann E.
