The Beach Club - Avalon 1505 is a 2 bedroom/2.5 bath luxury condo on the 15th floor with a balcony & a Direct Gulf View from the living, dining, kitchen area and the master bedroom! The Avalon Tower is located "Right on the Beach" at an upscale resort with a sugar white sand endless beach! As a guest in this condo, you will have access to the sparkling pool with a hot tub at the foot of the tower, three boardwalks with showers that leads to the sugar sand beach and Gulf of Mexico, playground, basketball court and may patron the fine casual dining restaurant at the clubhouse with a full bar & Gulf View or indulge in a massage at the salon & spa at the clubhouse and patron the sports bar and grill, souvenir & beach attire, ice cream & coffee bar near the entrance of the resort. You may choose to indulge and enjoy the Clubhouse private amenities: A state of the art fitness center, game room with free games, and elegant indoor pool with Gulf Views, adjoining luxurious ladies & gentlemen separate locker rooms with saunas, an outdoor pool with a Tiki Bar and Grill and access to seven Rubicon clay tennis courts, tennis coach and children's activities! Beach loungers with umbrella, para-sailing and other beach activities are available seasonally. A1505 has a furnished balcony, with an electric grill, for dining or sipping on something cool while watching the dolphins play in the Gulf! The condo amenities include WiFi, a cottage style open floor plan, sofa sleeper, 3 HDTVs with DVD players, a fully stocked kitchen with full size appliances and granite counters, a king master bedroom that adjoins the balcony and a private double vanity bathroom with a walk-in closet & a large jetted tub, two sets of bunk beds in the guest room with a private adjoining bath, a hallway half bath, a wash/dryer. The beds are made with fresh white linen and a linen set is supplied for the sofa. There is a modest supply of bath linens and a "one day" supply of basic kitchen and bath amenities/toiletries. Please bring your beach towels, food, disposable paper goods, extra trash bags and detergents for the clothes washer & dishwasher. The owner is a member of the clubhouse, so with a daily fee, you and your entire party may enjoy the private amenities, which includes a fitness center & indoor pool with Gulf Views, a game room, luxurious ladies & gentlemen separate locker rooms with saunas, an outdoor pool with a Tiki Bar and Grill, children's activities and access to the tennis courts! The fee is approximately $45 per day which covers everyone in your party, but is based on the number of days used. This fee is paid in person at the club desk. Without this fee, you still have access to the four pools with hot tubs at no additional costs. Two loungers and an umbrella rental is available for approximately $40.00 per day, at this time, but the clubhouse sets the rates. You may bring your own beach chairs and canopies, but there are designated areas for placement and must be removed each night. Para-sailing and other beach activities are available through the clubhouse and are offered seasonally when weather permits. Easy beach access. Pools were nice. Condo could use some updating. My only wish was that nothing extra for the beach was included. We brought everything but if you flew in you would have to rent or buy chairs/umbrellas which many owners stock. Only other complaint is that Beach Club security was not very helpful. I called when kids were throwing hot dogs and tortillas from the 19th floor into the pool and he didn’t want to be bothered. Condo itself was just as pictured and check in/out was easy! ##### sara b. The Avalon building at the Beach Club is a nice location and the condo was as described. We only had a few things that bothered us and only one of which was at fault of the cleaning service the rentals use, I am guessing the previous renters had kids who liked goldfish bc they were all around the base boards. Our complaint with the resort however, all the hot tub heaters were broken and there were a few gate security people who were just rude. Btw, it is no big but there wasn’t any starter coffee filters in the unit, bring your own! ##### Kristen T. We usually stay more “in town,” but it was so nice to be outside the crowd and just relax. We didn’t HAVE to leave, everything is there and convenient. The condo itself was great! It fit our needs and the number one reason we chose it was because of the bunk beds. We have 3 girls and we usually have to use the couch, too but with this one we didn’t. I do wish the bunk beds had more support under the top bunks as they do sag so you wouldn’t want a bigger kid/person up there. The master shower tile could use some bleach and new caulk, but it’s not too bad and the hair dryer needs to be taken down, it doesn’t work. However, I did find another one in a drawer in the bedroom while we were packing up and I was double checking drawers for stuff. Went all week without drying my hair because the hair dryer didn’t work, but there was one just not in the bathroom. We want to stay at this condo again, but I will check on stability of bunk beds before we book. ##### Misty C. She never apologized for the issues! My mother has stage 4 cancer and requires periods of rest so tv would have been nice to if had. Otherwise the location was great! Plaster falling off walls and ceilings and dirty. Carpeting black from dirt. Top bunk springs and bottom bunk 2” mattress both dirty and painful to sleep on. Sheets and mattress pads so old on all beds fell off every night. Poorly stocked kitchen. Vacuum and brooms broken . Couch and chairs so old painful to sit on and dirty. 20+ old dusty pillows that were flat. All bedding dusty and had to be washed. Fire alarms old batteries (not changed) and triggered. Food on floor and not cleaned when Checking in. Overall extremely disappointing and would not recommend renting. We took our adult 19 yo twins and their boyfriend / girlfriend. We chose this because of the 4 bunk beds and the 2.5 baths. It was decorated so cute and has so much charm. The only negative I have is it wasn’t as clean as it should’ve been. I know they turn these around quickly but some attention to detail was missed. A dirty mirror, fuzzy dust on the tp holder, dust under the tv console, door handles needed wiping etc. overall it was a great place to stay and I’d Stay there again, however I wish it was a little cleaner ##### Randall S. The bunk beds in the second bedroom were comfortable for them (even the tall one!) with no complaints. Having the extra half bath was helpful too. The kitchen was well stocked with a variety of everything we needed for a week at the beach and cooking all meals. The master bedroom, bathroom and closet were very spacious and felt like home. The large garden tub/shower was great after a long day on the beach. The Beach Club complex had everything we needed for a 25+ family reunion in the Gulf Shores area.
