After a day on the sand or stretched out by the pool, recharge and refuel at one of Gulf Shores's many restaurants. Rent lounge chairs and umbrellas on the beach, or take a quick stroll down the sand to try parasailing or volleyball. Look no further, you've found the perfect place for a fun-filled Gulf Shores vacation. Tile floors are found throughout this charming condo, where neutral tones and nautical artwork create a relaxing beach motif. The living room is ideal for pre-dinner drinks or for unwinding with a movie. A sleeper sofa and two chairs surround a 42” TV with cable, and a door leading to the breezy balcony allows sunlight in -- step out to take in gulf views and the sound of crashing waves. In the spacious kitchen, you’ll find bright white decor, ample counter space to work your culinary magic, and a double sink. Both bedrooms offer en-suite bathrooms with tub/shower combinations for added convenience and privacy. Catch glimpses of the beach from the queen-size bed in the primary bedroom, then curl up to watch your favorite shows on the 42” TV. Kids will love the guest room, where there is a twin over twin bunk and queen to offer lots of space. This room also has a 32” TV and a memorable turtle painting. Island Sunrise offers multiple shared amenities. Add a summery kick to your menu with the propane grill in the garden. Relax by the pool while the kids enjoy the swings. And step onto the sand and into the Gulf any time of day -- the beach is just outside your door. THINGS TO KNOW The pool is closed from 2/24/23 until further notice. Guests who book from May 18 to September 4 may have one parking pass per unit. Reservations made outside this date range will receive one parking pass per bedroom. Additional parking passes may not be purchased on-site no matter the time of year. This property is managed by Vacasa Alabama LLC. Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 1 vehicle. This rental is located on floor 4. We much enjoy the closeness to the beach and the quietness of the area. High-rise locations are not our fav! It is always clean with all the amenities and space we need. My only other comment would be to have guidance during a hurricane. We asked, but got no response. Being new to that situation, we didn’t know how the location would be during a storm surge. So we booked another room inland and totally moved out for the night. It added to our stress and cost of our trip. The ten digit door code provided did not work and the management company was of little help to resolve the issue. The key (only one) from the lockbox was our only issue. It had nice floors, adorable decor, and up to date appliances, it was just missing a few important details needed for a traveler. PLEASE ADD: instructions on how to use the television (which of the 5 remotes to use & how to get to cable TV to watch live sports), more than one roll of toilet paper for the unit, please have paper towels and soap available in the kitchen, as well as having more than one trash bag available for a week stay. These are basics that most condos provide for a traveler. PLEASE ALSO ADD a dust pan and alarm clock for travelers. One last request would be to shorten the 10 digit passcode to get in and out of the condo during the day. It was very difficult for our children to memorize. I hope this was helpful insight. On two different occasions, we were unable to open the door. The first time was remedied over the phone, but the second time, we waited for nearly two hours, at night, for someone to come fix the door. Additionally, we had a lot of sand in the condo upon our arrival and there were beer caps from the previous guests on the porch. We had to restart the dryer 10+ times to get our clothes dry and 15+ times to get our towels dry. \*No beach towels provided. The condo was clean upon arrival. It is a very cute condo with plenty of room for the 4 of us. The beds were comfortable. Great beach views from the balcony! A balcony with a good view is the number one requirement for our vacation. The location is ideal. It seems the beach around the condo was less busy than other parts which was a huge bonus. The flooring in the condo looks very nice and I love that there is no carpet, but from the moment we walked in you could feel sand under your feet. I even swept several times but still couldn’t get it all up. Perhaps mats inside the doors might help collect some of the sand from outside. The master bedroom bed needs to be replaced as well as the bathroom shower liner. You can tell that it’s an older building so there is some wear showing but overall a nice stay. ##### Holly N.
