House on the Top is a single-story family house located on the hill of São Lourenço de Selho, just 5 KM from the historic center of the city of Guimarães, considered a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The house has 3 large bedrooms with air conditioning, all with access to the garden and deck with barbecue, ideal for perfect moments with family and friends.  
  
This property has private parking and a garage for 3 cars. The spacious one-story property has 3 bedrooms, one of which is a suite, 3 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, laundry room, library and a fabulous deck with barbecue.  
  
For the best comfort of our guests, in the rooms you can find towels, hygiene products, robes and slippers. The house has high-speed Wi-Fi, a QLED 4K smartTV with Google TV to watch the best quality entertainment, laundry facilities and a fully equipped kitchen.

The Castle of Guimarães began with a monastery built by Mumadona Dias in the 10th century, before, therefore, the formation of Portugal. As the attacks of the Moors were frequent they decided to build a wall to protect the community and the monks that lived inside. It was this fort that gave origin to the Castle of Guimarães. Later, in the twelfth century, it was in this castle that Dom Afonso Henriques was born. Some years after he would become the first king of Portugal. With the lack of use the castle was degrading. Recently it was recovered and classified as National Monument. It is also considered World Heritage by UNESCO. A place full of history and that was cradle of Portugal.
