Relax on the front patio as you watch and listen to the sounds of the ocean. The pristine Moore River is only a 1km walk, ideal for swimming, kayaking and fishing. This property has been fully renovated. The 4-bedroom home accommodates up to 8 people and would suit two families wanting to get away together. Sorry, not suitable for pets. Unfortunately, we experienced a serious safety issue during our stay. While leaning lightly against a window in the lounge room, my husband, who was holding our 5-month-old daughter, accidentally broke the glass. Thankfully, neither of them was injured, but the incident could have ended very differently.The property manager was responsive and arranged for a glazier promptly. However, the glazier confirmed that the glass was not up to current safety standards and was considered dangerous, especially given how easily it shattered. Disappointingly, the homeowner has refused to take any responsibility or address the issue.The broken window was floor to knee height, exactly at toddler level, and I shudder to think what could happen if a child fell into it.
