Guardia Vacation Packages

Let me say this before I begin, it was my wife's birthday, and we were looking forward to having a great time. When we checked in and arrived at our room we were both appalled at how the room looked. It did not look nothing like the pictures that were presented on Experia's website. Those rooms may have been great in the 18th century but not for the 21st! Also, considering that it is very hot in Costa Rica the air conditioning units cannot keep up with cooling the room. Let me also add that the hot tube didn't work. Second, after the first day the power went out in our unit. We notified the staff and after an hour of trying to fix the problem they eventually gave us another room. Just imagine coming back from an excursion sweaty, hot, and ready to take a shower and the power is off! Even though the staff was helpful, you couldn't unsee the nonchalant Ness about the situation. Now the good parts. What you are paying for is the view! That is it! But you can go to Florida for that. The food was great and the staff was friendly and the drinks by my surprise was good. Other than that, there is nothing else to say. Giving this resort 1 star is generous. They definitely need to upgrade the rooms, and may I add the Wi-Fi didn't work! It only works in the reception area. If you are going to Costa Rica, I would not recommend this resort! Expedia should seriously consider removing it from their listings. I feel like it is false advertisement! Nothing looked like what the site showed

Staff was amazing and the room was excellent.

Our family of five stayed (kids ages 14,17,21) for five nights. It was an incredible villa for our stay in Tamarindo. The hosts were easy to communicate with through Expedia and WhatsApp. We rented a golf cart for one day, which was very easy to do. The Langosta Beach Club was fantastic and we went almost every day. If you see Kevin on the beach, he’s your guy for tours. We did an atv tour and a kayak tour. Masa Madre had delicious breakfast and Little Lucha had a great menu as well. There is also a market not far from the villa. Just a note, if you have mobility issues or young children, the walk into town may be more difficult for you. It was fine for us with our big kids. We would highly recommend this place!

This was a favorite property!!! Oceanfront, gorgeous pool and gardens around the property. I love their commitment to the environment and welcome the natural wildlife within the property. The staff is so friendly, always ensuring you are doing well and enjoying your time. The food at the restaurant is delicious, and you can enjoy your meal beachside if you wish. The bungalows are spacious with a beautiful outdoor shower. The beach is wonderful to swim, walk and surf. Thank you to all the staff we met and helped make our stay so memorable!

The staff was great especially Francisco! He was excellent !!! The rooms were extremely clean and the breakfast was very good! Would stay again
