The front desk and reception service was excellent. As a foreigner, I have difficulty in arranging a taxi. The staff (Wechat nick name La La) help me to book a taxi each time I needed one. The hotel location is excellent as it is very near to subway station and a big shopping mall. Built in 2002 as a 5 Star it is showing its years and the 5th star is a bit shakey. Staff are great with a stand out team member on most shifts. Download Google Translate before you go. Short walk to Aeon Shopping Plaza. Across the road (pedestrian tunnel) from Metro station. 10 minute walk to a small plaza of restaurants down Kouan Ave. Not really a tourist district. Were there primarily on business. The hotel looks nice from the outside, but inside it’s like an ageing ‘China’ hotel. The interior is way beyond its best and is very dated.
