Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. Dock details: The dock is 20 feet in length. The cottage is right on the shores of Moosehead Lake with a flat grassy lawn and a smooth rocky shoreline with a pebble bottom - great for swimming! There is also a large breakwater of rocks about 50 feet offshore which keeps the swimming area in front of the cottage calmer than the rest of the lake. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. The view is amazing and the lake is just a few short steps in front of the cottage. Perfect location to enjoy the sunsets. I never did receive any communication telling us what the check-in process is for this cottage but a quick phone call to the property manager and they gave me the code to the lockbox and all was fine. We would definitely stay here again. Cottage is as advertised. Don't expect any condiments to be available (we usually don't expect it) and the one addition to the kitchen that would have been helpful would have been a frying pan but we managed just fine. There were other baking pans available to improvise with. ##### Ilke H.
