This house has so much charm and character with enjoyable nooks and vintage touches to be discovered throughout. There is a lot of space to spread out, central heating and cozy electric fireplace heaters, quiet neighborhood, yard, front porch seating, walking distance to Historic Downtown Greensburg, and popular Green River Paddle Trail. This home has been recently updated while still respecting some of the original 1940's charm. There are beautiful hardwood floors throughout most of the house, antique cabinets in the kitchen, a shaded front porch where you can observe the neighborhood, and an uncluttered old fashioned feel to the whole home. The kitchen is large and open, stocked with dishes and appliances, and is adjacent to the comfortable living room and dining room. Both the King Bedroom and Full Bedroom Loft are located upstairs, and the Queen Bedroom is located on the main floor. Both bathrooms are also located on the main floor of the home. However, we do wish the listing mentioned the two bedrooms upstairs were kind of a "Jack-and-Jill" style -- you walk up the stairs and immediately enter one bedroom (no door), then have to walk through another door to get into the other bedroom. The property was well maintained and suited our needs. We enjoyed how close to the historic district of Greensburg the property was located.
