I had a wonderful experience staying at Hometown Studios. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making check-in quick and easy. The room was clean, well-maintained, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including a kitchenette, which was super convenient. The location was great—close to shopping centers, restaurants, and public transportation, making it easy to get around. The hotel was also quiet, allowing me to relax and get a good night’s sleep. For an extended stay or a short visit, Hometown Studios provides great value for the price. I appreciated the excellent customer service and the overall cleanliness of the property. It wasn’t terrible but I don’t think I would stay here again. First, there’s no elevator and if you’re on the first floor, you have to go to the back of the Motel. There were so many sketchy characters hanging around outside. Maybe homeless people. They were all around especially in the back. They were harmless but, I was alone, so it was a bit concerning. I could smell marijuana in the parking lot. It was the noisiest motel I’ve ever stayed in. Sounded like a herd of Elephants were staying up stairs. The door alarm kept going off, all night. On a cleanliness scale, I would give it a 5\. No bad smells. The building is old and definitely needs some attention and upgrades. The Staff was super friendly and helpful. Then there was NO HOT WATER!!! They said they were working on it, I figured it would be working by morning, it was not!!! They did waive the $100 deposit but for amenities like HOT WATER, there should’ve been some credit or compensation due to that OFFERED!!! My rooms A/C wasn't working. They put me on the 3rd floor and there were no elevators so I had to carry hundreds of pounds of work product up to my room by hand. They released me of my stay (mercifully) but had to stay 2 days and they gave me a room on the 2nd floor but charged me $18 more dollars per day.
