Perfect Summer / Fall Getaway with Amazing Fireplace for Gathering / Relaxation.

Beauitful 35 Acre property with an abundance of wildlife sitting atop a mountain. Property includes brand new (built in 2015) log cabin with 4 bedrooms, amazing "great room", large open area kitchen, 2 sided fireplace (faces inside and outside) and large back deck facing woods and large backyard. House is perfect for evening grilling and sitting around the campfire (fire pit in backyard). House has all the modern amenities from wireless internet, stainless steel appliances (large refrigerator with ice maker), microwave, walk in pantry, island in kitchen, gas grill on back porch, flat screen TV's in each room with DirecTV. Full washer / dryer in basement and modern HVAC system with central air conditioning and heating.

No need to bring utensils or plates & glasses as house is fully stocked with everything you need (except the food). Master bathroom has shower and jacuzzi bath tub, guest bathroom has shower / tub and has towels, washcloths, soap, etc.

There is a beautiful covered car port in the front of the house such that you can avoid the elements (rain, snow) when you pull up the the U shaped driveway.

Property has wide range of wildlife ranging from birds, foxes, squirrels, rabbits, turkey and many deer. Backyard is rouhgly 2 acres and full of grass. Visits here are the definition of tranquility, as you will hear no cars at night, watch the deer in the morning or evening and have comfortable nights sleep.

Cabin is roughly 15 minutes from the closest town where you can stock up on food for your visit. Cabin is 90 minutes from NYC (without traffic) and easy to get to for a weekend getaway.

The property was perfect for our extended family of 10 Holiday gathering. The kitchen was well equipped, the bedrooms comfortable and the living areas were large enough for socializing. It snowed, so we were even able to do some sledding on the grounds. We highly recommend!

Beautiful Property!

The house was great! Plenty big enough for our group of 8. I thought there were 3 rooms with 2 beds but there were only 2, and 2 with one bed. It ended up working fine, the kiddos slept in the full size bed, but just a heads up for anyone traveling with all adults! We hung out on the porch a lot, had morning coffee out there, ate dinners out there, played games, etc. The basement was great for the kids, had some toys and lots of room to run around. We didn't cook a ton but the the few things we made, the kitchen seemed to be pretty stocked. Spent one day at the Woodstock museum (about a 40 min drive) but the rest of the time we enjoyed being at the house. The road is quiet and we were able to take walks up it. All in all a great stay. Close enough to town to grab anything we need, but far enough to be able to see the stars and enjoy nature!

This place is even nicer than it looks on line!

We were very impressed with the size, cleanliness and decor of this home. We especially loved the covered car area and the covered deck that included a hammock and double sided fireplace. I also really liked the art on the walls. We highly recommend this place.

The condition of the property was not as kept up as it could have been- the grill is filled with grease and we had to clean the grates before use We left the wire brush. The fire place ash was pretty full- the home overall is very nice and we had a very nice time. A repair man showed up unexpectedly to fix the dryer but said he did not have the part.

Quiet relaxing property

This is a very quiet and peaceful property. The house comes with everything needed for your stay and is modern and up to date. The covered back porch is awesome. There is virtually no traffic on the road. We were fortunate enough to have clear nights and enjoyed the stars. Mattresses on the beds were extremely comfortable. This was a great home base for us and we took advantage of the excellent hiking at Lake Minneswaska was well as a concert at Bethel Woods. Overall this is a great property and an easy owner to work with.
