Cove’s Point is truly a one-of-a-kind vacation experience. Located at the “point” in the Cove, you will be living both bayfront and canalfront with absolutely stunning views of the Chincoteague Bay. At night, watch the lights of Chincoteague Island dance on the water - tranquility at its finest. Fish, crab, and kayak right in your own backyard, and by all means, bring the boat! The Sunroom, which lines the back of the house, has a wall of windows to the water - a great place to dine, play games, or simply curl up with a good book, and just imagine watching the Herons, Egrets, and Eagles fish for their morning meal as you enjoy your coffee. The Chef in your family will love the well-stocked Kitchen. With gleaming Hardwood Floors, an Island, and yet another dining area, mealtime will be a bay breeze. Grab a quick bite before hitting the beach at the Breakfast Bar, or dine Al Fresco on the bayfront Deck. Cove’s Point sleeps 6 in 3 spacious Bedrooms, plus a Sleeper Sofa. On the main level, you’ll find Bedroom 1 with a comfy King Bed. Just imagine waking each morning to these breathtaking Bay Views. Also on this floor is a Full Bath with Tub/Shower Combo.Wandering upstairs, you’ll find 2 more spacious Bedrooms and an office area. Bedrooms 2 has a Queen Bed and Bayfront Deck access, as does Bedroom 3\. Bedroom 3 sleeps 4 in 2 sets of Bunk Beds. Both of these Bedrooms have Flat Screen TVs. The dock had some loose boards, as did the stairs, a door handle was loose and the dishwasher and washing machine were both not at full function. The furniture seating options, while serviceable, weren’t particularly comfortable for sitting. That said, the location was lovely and the sleep number bed in the main bedroom was a nice touch. The house was FULL of gnats as soon as we got there I know its that time of the year, but they were already in the house when we arrived. Living room furniture is very uncomfortable. It was absolutely amazing to be able to wake up and walk outside and put a line in the water and catch fish from the property. Thoroughly enjoyed watching the needlefish and jellyfish in the mornings. It was a pleasant backwoods drive to get to Chincoteague and Assateauge not too far but not too close either.
