The decor is tasteful and creates a cozy, authentic mountain atmosphere that we all enjoyed. The amenities were great, providing everything our family needed for a comfortable weekend.Martin was a fantastic host. He was highly communicative throughout our stay and very professional. We especially appreciated his willingness to listen to our feedback regarding travel times—it’s clear he cares about his guests' experience.The only reason we aren't giving five stars is due to the description of the distance to Big Bear. The listing mentions it is 12 minutes away, but in our experience, it took 12 minutes just to get from the cabin to the main highway. From that point, it was an additional 20–30 minute drive to Big Bear in light rain. In heavy snow or peak traffic, guests should probably plan for at least an hour's drive.Overall if you are looking for a beautiful, quiet retreat in Green Valley Lake, this cabin is perfect! Just be mindful of the extra commute time if you're planning daily trips into Big Bear. ##### Michael G. The owner communicated well with us. The power went out for about 1100 people and we were one of them and he communicated with us through the process beautiful home great location. It’s the fifth cabin we rented in Green Valley Lake and it’s the best one so far, we will be back ##### chris c.
