Perfect in historical Rodos
Excellent. Dans le Rhodes historique mais au calme. John est aux petits soins, très disponible (même pour organiser un depart à 5h du matin a l'aeroport) avec de bons conseils. Petit déjeuner très agréable dans la cour. Bref, parfait. Perfect. In the historical Rodos but in a quiet little street. The rooms are large with small attentions (wine, coffee). John is very helpful and available, with great advices. Breakfast in the patio are a real pleasure. Just perfect

John, le propriétaire faisait des réno et malheureusement elles n'étaient pas complétées. Pour pas nuire à nos vacances il nous a transféré dans un autre super hotel sans frais supplémentaire. Merci John pour l'effort extra.

Un petit coin tranquille au cœur de Rhodes
Le propriétaire a tout fait pour nous être agréable en nous facilitant l'accès par sa propre aide . Le petit déjeuner y est excellent , on se sent "chez soi"

Petit hôtel de charme
J'ai réservé cet hôtel pour une halte d'une nuit à Rhodes et celà m'a permis de rencontrer John, qui tient cet établissement, et je peux dire avoir rarement été aussi bien acceuilli : John est venu nous chercher au taxi, a été aux petits soins pour nous pendant tout le séjour et c'est très très agréable. L'hôtel quant à lui est très bien placé, au calme, tout en étant à proximité immédiate des monuments de la vieille ville. La chambre elle-même était propre et bien entretenue. Et nous avons bénéficié d'une cour très agréable pour le petit déjeuner, au demeurant bon et copieux, et pour se reposer à l'ombre, tout simplement. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel où je retournerai avec garnd plaisir. A noter que des travaux d'embellissement et d'agrandissement sont prévu en hiver 2013-2014 et permmetra sans doute un acceuil encore meilleur !

Great small mom&papa place. Safe and quiet. We visited out of season so the entire area was pretty quiet. By 9 or 10 pm everything is closed so nightlife here is non-existent during April. Hotel is clean and in the center of the Old Town and the saff is super friendly and helpful.

This is an outstanding place to stay. The staff did anything and everything they could to make us feel welcome and at home. We will not stay anywhere else whenever we visit Rhodes. Great breakfast, very quiet location, easy walk to the busy section of the old city, or to the harbor. I can't say enough about what a great find this was for us. They even made our 40th anniversary special with a bottle of bubbly and flowers. Just great people and a comfortable, pleasant room!

I loved the hotel and the service. We will return! My only feedback for improvement would be the breakfast. It was fairly limited with no made to order just continental style (some pastries, etc.). The room was fantastic and very clean!

Don't think twice about booking here! We had an excellent stay. The property is beautiful and allowed for us to be in the old city and enjoy shopping and dining. The staff were incredibly kind and always willing to help as needed, and even picked us up from the port to help us with luggage and directions. Everything was incredibly clean and very comfortable, the complementary breakfast was delicious and we got to enjoy conversation with the other guests, meeting some very interesting individuals. I can't speak highly enough about our stay here, and hope that I get to visit again soon!

Could not be better!
I do not normally leave reviews but this was one of the best stay experiences I’ve ever had. John is a man who knows hospitality and executes it beautifully. He and his staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and generous with time and information. The property was perfect - location was amazing, and the room was beautifully renovated and well equipped. Restaurant recommendations were spot on!! I would never stay anywhere else if we are lucky enough to visit Rhodes again.

The location is perfect , in the middle of the old town and in walkable distance to the palace , beach , multiple restaurants and museum . John and Nick went beyond any expectations, John picked us up with the little golf cart at the ferry port and took us back . It was a great relief that we did not need to walk at 42 C heat with the luggages to the port . It was really exceptional treat and hospitality from the hotel owner John .

Good escape from tourisim
The hotel is located at the far end of the old town, there is no direct car access and you are required to walk about 8 minutes from the nearest gate. once you arrive you need to call the number of the hotel as the doorbell is only heard in a single area of the hotel and the property manager is not always there to hear it. But once you get inside you see this amazing property that has been restored with the up most attention to details. I highly recommend to everyone who wants to escape the tourists

This is a wonderful place, right in the middle of Old Town, but on a quiet side street. The owner and staff were amazing: friendly, helpful, efficient. They arranged transportation into Old Town and back to the airport. Facilities and breakfast were perfect—they asked us what we liked and provided it!

This location provided the perfect atmosphere for our medieval adventure within the walled city. We were picked up at the ferry port even though we booked on the same day. Each of the staff members provided excellent services. Such a fun experience! Don't forget to ask the staff for the wonderful suggestions to great restaurants, sites and activities in and out of the walled city, you won't regret it.

A welcoming comfortable small hotel
We were well looked after by Mr John and his staff. Relaxed and informal, with comfortable room. Appreciated being met at the gate to the Old Town with the golf buggy to transport us and our bags.

Şahane bir lokasyon, konforlu ve keyifli bir konaklama oldu. Öncesinde iletişime geçip nasıl ulaşırız dediğimizde sağ olsunlar bizi Buggy ile almaya geleceklerini söylediler. Feribottan indiğimizde bizi bekliyorlardı. Minicik bir avlusu var. Çok şirin. Odalar tertemiz. Personel güler yüzlü, sıcakkanlı. Konumu itibariyle eski kentin göbeğinde ama sessiz bir sokakta ne kalabalıktan ne de sesten rahatsız olmazsınız. Bir sonraki Rodos ziyaretimizde de kesinlikle Zacosta'yı tercih ederiz.

This is a smaller hotel nestled toward the back of the old city. It was very comfortable and the staff were very nice. At the time, I was the only guest staying there (since I was in the off season). However, I was certainly not given any sort of disadvantage for that. Breakfast came at the normal time and was given no pressure for when to show up for it. I was able to ask plenty of questions about the area, and the staff were readily available. Overall, I had an amazing time at this hotel. The only thing I would mention, it is a little far from the gate, (only a few minute walk). So it is worth keeping in mind they have a golf cart that allows for easy moving your baggage from the entry to the old city, (such as either the main bus stop for old Rhodes or taxi stand). So make sure you ask for it when you arrive. Overall, I would highly recommend it, it is a very cosy hotel in Rhodes. I would stay there again if I was back on the island.

John is the heart of this property and he will go out of his way to accommodate the needs of his guests. I needed a small container for rubbing alcohol and I could not find one anywhere and John found one for me without me asking him. He is the epitome of exceptional service! I could go on and on with examples of his service. The property is set back but not too far from the main shopping lane, so it is quiet. I love the patio which is much nicer than the picture shows. The breakfast is very nice. I would definitely stay here again because of the service and the accommodations are just lovely.
