« Spent a weekend and it was perfect! Private and cozy with a lot of outdoor things to do. Some insects but to be expected. Very clean and well kept. People in general were very nice in town. Very few things to eat so I would suggest bring stuff to cook since it has a full kitchen and all you need to cook. »

Check-in and check-out were straightforward and host was very responsive over text. There was a power outage in the area our first evening and the host stayed in touch to make sure it came back on. « We had a friends meet up at this cabin. We loved the waterfront access and spent a lot of time on the deck enjoying the view. Also love that it was dog friendly. The available kayaks and canoes were a nice plus. Overall it was a pretty good cabin, but the listing makes it seem much bigger than it is. The listing says it's 4000 sq ft, which it is not. We still had enough of room for 6 people and some dogs. The main floor bedroom does not have any windows (which is not apparent from the pictures)....

« Perfect cabin for a weekend getaway. The community is unique in that it is gated, but 1200 acres. We only used the upstairs bedrooms, but the beds were comfortable. Loved the screened in porch!! The only addition that is needed is a fly swatter. Some very large, but slow moving flies appeared on our last night and we had to get creative with how we disposed of them. Very clean cabin! »

« Our family had a lovely time! The house was very clean, super comfortable, and well furnished. Everything felt very new, thoughtful and well selected. The kitchen was well appointed with plenty of pots and pans, cutting boards, cooking utensils, etc. The only thing lacking was a can opener.The screened in porch and hot tub were both incredible additions!We even journeyed down to the creek and found lots of fun mushrooms and crawfish.Would definitely recommend! »

« Remote location with a fantastic view. Many wildlife to observe. The only thing that did not meet expectation is the noise from the main road across the valley.
