Kirby and Cassie reached out the morning of our arrival, telling us of the weather, and offering to put us up in the Hyatt hotel next door should we feel uncomfortable in the boat. It's truly unfortunate we couldn't stay in the boat. It is beautiful, cozy, has a wonderful view, and is so relaxing. The area is fantastic for food and good times, and the guide, coupons, and chocolate crabs really were delightful and helpful. Pictures are truly reflective of the accommodations. Kent Narrows is our go to weekend vacation spot. We have stayed previously at the Hilton Garden, but ow will only stay at Cass Away. Booking, communication and checkin were all easy and painless. Number of bars and restaurants all within walking distance. Our favorite has always been Bridges for a good meal. Looking for a great spot for drinks and music hit The Jetty or. Big Owls, right next door. If you’re willing to venture out and want excellent Italian try Amalfi in Stevensville. Nov 2, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy Cast n Reel is such a unique and charming houseboat — spotless, beautifully maintained, and perfectly located right on Kent Narrows. We loved being within walking distance of great restaurants and having easy access to bike paths and scenic trails. The views from the deck are absolutely serene. Even though the first couple of days were a bit too windy to sit outside, by our last morning the calm weather made the back porch the perfect spot to relax and take it all in. The attention to detail is well thought through. Correspondence with the owner is quick and very accurate. The views are priceless. So relaxing watching the water and boats passing by.
