"This was our first trip to Deep Creek Lake and it couldn't have been better. Quiet, peaceful, and beautiful. The cabin is perfect for a couple or small family and had everything we could have possibly needed and then some. "I had a peaceful retreat weekend at Spring House. The cabin was just as pictured on Vrbo. The picture windows in the dining room have clear views of the woods and the stream. I walked onto the deck to listen to the stream and look up at the trees, even though it was chilly outside. The cabin inside was warm and cozy. I would definitely stay in the cabin again in the future when I need quiet time away. It is also a short drive to Fallingwater, and I enjoyed a guided tour of the UNESCO world...

"Cute for 2 people, but if you have trouble with steps look for a different location. Bed in main bedroom was VERY tall off the ground and hard to get into for a 5 foot tall woman. Clean property, but although sleeps 6 is stated in rental, it was comfortable for myself and my friend on our girls weekend. Give local restaurant Black Bear Tavern a 5 star rating also. EXCELLENT service, selection, food was amazing and entertainment was spot on for what we were looking for. Location nearby...

"This cabin is beautiful. Perfect for my kids and I. Only one small problem. In the loft the is insulation coming out if the ceiling like snow the whole time we were there. I felt bad when we left because I left the one comforter on the bed because it was cover and I didn’t want to carry it to the laundry area. Once this issue is corrected this for be a 10/10 for me!!!"
