Whether you want to walk the trails, sit around the campfire by the house or by the lake, or go fishing, this is the home for you. 20 miles N of Wisconsin Dells Less than an hour to Cascade or Devil's Head resort 1.5 hours drive to Granit Peak resort Full kitchen: includes pots and pans, dishes, silverware and utensils. Coffee maker with coffee and filters. Reverse osmosis water filtration system. Full-size refrigerator and oven. Wood burning stove on the porch provides ample heat and ambiance. Full bath: bath/shower combo, includes two towels and washcloths per room, additional by request. The family room has two sofas with a smart TV and DVD player and an HDMI connection. In addition to the three bedrooms, there is a folding twin-size bed and 2 pack and plays for infants and toddlers upon request. For the kids: there is a trampoline and 3 tree swings (in the front, in the back, and by the lake) Local roads allow ATV and snowmobile riding. Public boat launch on the opposite side of the lake and a landing on the property. Basic cleaning supplies will be provided under the kitchen sink and/or in the bathroom closet. This is a wonderful place to stay! It is SO peaceful and incredibly quiet. We barely heard any traffic during our week-long stay. Yet, it is close enough to the Dells for an occasional activity. A total of 6 adults were there at one point. The way the home is situated, there was adequate space for all of us, even though one of us had to work from home. He had very reliable internet service the entire time, even for Zoom calls, The grounds are exceptional! Very gorgeous woods, pretty landscaping and a shaded wildflower meadow, with several mowed paths throughout. The swing by the firepit was enjoyed by all of us, and building a fire was easy even during rainy days. Plenty of wood was available and stacked to keep it dry. The dirt path down to the lake is very wide, and free of vegetation. It is quite hilly and very long, but a pretty walk. On damp days, be sure to bring the bug spray for the walk down. The lakefront is terrific with a great deal of peaceful sandy shoreline on a cove. We saw no one else on the lake the entire time!! There's also a handy outhouse at the lakefront. It is SO clean and NOT at all smelly!! It has paper towels, hand sanitizer and 3 beach chairs. The kitchen is well stocked with the necessities. The water was amazing, and they have a built-in filter for drinking water at the kitchen sink! NO smell, NO rust staining! Adorable cabin on beautiful property! The host answered any questions we had. The only thing that we weren't a fan of were the beds. It worked out great because, although we got rained out of the water park, the home provided comfort. We weren't confined to a room and could enjoy the property's outdoor trails, paddleboat, trampoline, and fire pit.
