We vacationed in July with our daughter and her family of 5 (kids 8, 6 and 20 mos). The home was on a large property with plenty of room for the kids to run around with a beautiful campfire and additional outdoor seating (our fav). Inside was very clean and clearly updated. Decorated with fun and natural touches, the bedrooms were comfortable and roomy. Our bed was especially comfy, and we're kind of picky. The kitchen was very well appointed with everything we needed and more and lots of storage for the food we brought! The location was perfect for what we wanted to do and we had reasonably short and beautiful drives to Macinac Island, Painted Rock, many waterfall hikes and more. We were even advised how to protect our property from bear and warned that there had been more sightings recently than usual. We hoped to see some, but didn't! But we were very watchful with the kids outside. We would definitely come back here again if we make a return visit to this area! Brandi was an excellent and attentive host! ##### Jennifer B.
