Sassy Seagull – Newly Renovated with Sunrise Views & Beach Access

Welcome to Sassy Seagull, a freshly renovated beach retreat perfectly positioned at the beginning of Grand Isle, directly across from Hurricane Hole Marina and Restaurant. This bright and airy 3-bedroom, 2-bath rental features large windows across the front, offering beautiful sunrise views, plus both highway-side and gulf-side porches for relaxing any time of day.
Downstairs, you’ll find a private, locking storage area for your personal use that includes a toilet and lavatory, as well as a closed-in outdoor shower for easy cleanup after a day on the beach. There’s also plenty of parking for vehicles and boats.

  • Sunset from Grand Isle State Park, near the southern tip of Louisiana. We didn't know you could drive 1.5 hours south of New Orleans, but you can to reach this beautiful state park. Grand Isle is mostly a summer community but it was sunny and warm and nearly empty for us in early March. The RV park was a great place to stay -- one of our favorites, right next to the beach and with nature paths nearby. We walked on the beach by day, and grilled burgers and sat by the campfire at night. Family Fun

The Sassy Seagull offers all the comforts of home. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and pots to choose from. The living room offers a spacious environment to rest in. The view from the back deck is peaceful. And everything was clean.

Very nice spacious home and accomadated my family well. It is equipped with the necessary supplies needed. Unfortunately they were working on the beach so we couldn't walk down to the beach and had to drive a bit down to get to the geach. It ×very close to the marina!getaccess to access

Good times

Great property. Would recommend adding dishwasher to amenities because that was a pleasant surprise. Would’ve been perfect if they had the beach fully open from the hurricane but that doesn’t take away from the place and isn’t the renters fault.

All you can ask for in a grand isle camp

This property is a great place to stay at, really felt comfortable and enjoyed the stay, great space in the camp and overall just a great place to sleep if you plan on going to grand isle and looking for a place to stay. 10/10

Great location

Pros: great location, had two fridges downstairs for storage, beach was nice in this spot. Cons: the set up is not amazing. Master is connected to shared bathroom. Someone opened my door at 3am because you can only lock it from inside the bathroom. The washroom is in the back room bathroom so you have to knock on the bedroom then the bathroom to get to it. Bring your own cookie sheet. Bring extra blankets. The chairs on the porch are super low Adirondack and you can’t see the sea if you’re sitting. If these cons don’t bother you then It’ll be a great place.

Family weekend getaway

This was one of the best places we have stayed in at Grand Isle. Everything was as advertised and more. The Neighbor was very nice. Friday night the power went out for about 3 to 4 hours and he walked over and loaned us some lights to keep in the cabin. I did not catch his name but it made us feel safer and assured us that we were being watch over. The cabin was clean and lights and air were on when we arrived. I will definitely be renting this one in the near future. I would recommend this cabin to everyone.

Great weekend at the Sassy Seagull

The house was very clean and had more then enough space for the 6 of us. We loved sitting on the back porch in the mornings and looking out at the Gulf. The beach was easy to access and the house had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

Great property for vacation

When we heard Grande isle opened up properties we were excited we could book a last minute trip. Even more exciting is this property allowed dogs so we did not have to scramble for a dog sitter. The place is plenty big and comfortable to stay at. Our critique isn't of the place, but more of the location. The beach is very narrow in the area and unfortunately one of the tenants of the place nextdoor in the large complex used the beach as their personal trash dump. When returning to the beach access trail, you have to dodge beer cans, and food containers. It was common to see diapers thrown in the bushes between our property and the complex. We enjoyed our stay despite this, but I do hope it will be addressed in the future.

Sassy Seagull Extended Family Weekend

Spent 4 days 3 nights with children and grandkids. Had great time. Beach house was clean everything worked well, enough space for everyone. Had everything we needed. Will come back again.
