The property said there was a hot tub but there wasn’t. They cooked us breakfast but it was eggs and dry bread with some sort of weird jam. but just left the food out the door so we never really got to eat the food fresh. View was cool. My family still lives here and I visit from CA with my kids every summer. Due to last minute changes in accommodations, I was left in search of a place for me to spend the nights for the first week of our stay while my kids stayed with the grandparents. Thankfully, I came across this amazing bed and breakfast only a few miles from my parents' place. Just... incredible. The location is amazing. The property is right on the Niagara river and the view every morning is delightful. It is next to a recently renovated bike path that is close enough to Beaver Island State Park to walk there and back in the morning - about 1.5 miles to the official park entrance. I did this walk almost every morning and regularly saw deer out having their breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, wow!! Every morning was something new. The host asks if you prefer a traditional Asian-style breakfast or a Western breakfast. Of course, I had to go with the Asian style option and am so glad I did. She prepares traditional rice porridge (congee/zhou) and pairs it with a variety of other wonderful dishes, including bao, gyoza, salmon, noodles with scallions and sauce, fresh veggies, scrambled eggs with Asian inspired flavors. Delicious! The host is so sweet and was very responsive to any questions I had. The room is very well appointed. I encourage anyone looking for a lovely and quiet location in the area to stay here.
