Enchanting Peninsula Lake Front Cabin with Dock, Kayaks, Hiking Enjoy a relaxing vacation at this waterfront cabin with beautiful panoramic lake views and a partially covered dock on deep water. Truly, this home boasts some of the best views on Possum Kingdom and has expansive, open water in front of it. This cute and cozy cabin has 2 bedrooms and 1 Jack-and-Jill bathroom with shower. Full kitchen opens onto large living/dining room with wood-burning fireplace. The best location on the property is definitely the 1100 sqft deck. It is perfect for relaxing in the shade or sun, grilling dinner out, and dining under the stars all while enjoying the lake view. House is located on Possum Kingdom's peninsula. Boat ramps, restaurants and grocery store are all 5-10 minutes away. Located in the heart of Possum Kingdom's award-winning hike and bike trail system (see map under photos) with scenic lookouts over Possum Kingdom lake and the Palo Pinto Mountains. Trails are a short hike, walk, or bike-ride away. It definitely needs an upgrade. You couldn't run both air conditioners at the same time for very long. Forget about using a blow dryer it trips the breaker. I was pleasantly surprised at the awesome lake view from the deck. The host thought of everything, the coffee was nice because I forgot to pack some. The chaise lounges are very comfy and have z as built-in side table for your favorite beverage or reading glasses and book! Tip for other guests: 1) pack what you need if you go to the boathouse to swim. That way you won’t have to go up the 30 +/- steps several times. 2) if you have a small portable a/c unit you’ll need it for the guest room. 3) bring your own food because the nearest restaurant is Hemmingways on the lake, which is very nice. The fast food restaurants are in Graham and there’s lots to choose from. ##### Jo R. The house faces north so the sunsets and sunrises on the lake were unobstructed and gorgeous! The outside of the house, deck and boat dock were covered in spider webs but the inside was clean and equipped with everything we needed. The fireplace warmed it up quickly. We loved the wooded area on the way down to the dock. The stairs are fine and very safe contrary to what another reviewer stated. However you may get a little winded if you are out of shape. The dock was huge and had kayaks, fishing pole holders, and chairs. We caught 8 fish in one day. 6 bass, 1 catfish, and 1 Crappie. If my parents had had a lake house when I was a kid, this would be it! My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. The deck was dreamy with a beautiful view of the lake, facing northward, so just right. We drank our coffee out here in the mornings and ate dinner on the deck each evening. The weather was perfect. We were able to secure our boat to the dock for our entire stay, which made going out very easy and convenient. We parked our trailer at nearby North D&D with no issues. The road to the house is one lane, so it can be tricky, but we managed ok. Overall, a great stay! ##### Sarah M.
