Offering comfort and value, this condo-style development enjoys a prime location in the dynamic heart of Governor’s Harbour. The property consists of two well-appointed buildings: one with two one-bedroom apartments and two standard two-bedroom units, and the other with two spacious two-bedroom apartment suites. Each residence features an outdoor balcony with sweeping views of beautiful Anchor Bay. This unit is located on the elevated lower level of the complex. Inside, the apartment is fully fitted with modern touches such as built-in shelving in the living room, stainless steel kitchen appliances inclusive of ductless range hoods, a full-size washer and dryer, and all-new bathroom vanities. There is countertop dining provided in the kitchen area (for 4), and an outdoor dining table and chairs for six. The main bedroom features a King-size bed and the second bedroom contains a Queen. Both bedrooms are en-suite, with full bathrooms complete with white ceramic sinks, high efficiency toilets and walk-in shower stalls. A double-sized sleeper sofa in the living room can accommodate up to two additional guests and is perfect for those travelling with children or an extended family member. Additional amenities include ductless air conditioning throughout, ceiling fans, a well-equipped kitchen, full washer/dryer, high speed wireless internet, back-up power generator, and Cable/Smart TV. Beach towels, chairs, an umbrella and cooler bag are also provided for our guests. Pricing for this unit is based on occupancy, allowing smaller groups (4 or less) to enjoy the apartment at a lower rate while consuming less utilities and creating less wear on the property. Please ensure you select the correct quantity travelling for accurate pricing and bed configuration ahead of arrival. Our apartments are located in the vibrant heart of Governor\`s Harbour, a prime location for exploring Central Eleuthera. We are one block from the historic Haynes Library, and less than a 1/4 mile from Cupid\`s Cay, home of the Eleutheran Adventurers, and the site of the first Bahamian Parliament in 1746. Every Friday evening there\`s great Bahamian nightlife at the Anchor Bay fish fry, a short stroll from the apartments. Here you can sample locally prepared, down-home Bahamian food - including conch salad, deep fried fish, grilled chicken, macaroni and cheese, and peas n\` rice. Mingle with friendly locals, winter residents who visit the island each year for several months at a time, or tourists seeking a fun night out - there is a live DJ, local beers and cocktails, limbo contests and dancing in the streets until late into the night! While Anchor Point Apartments are within walking distance to the local grocery & liquor stores, coffee shops, gift stores and ATM facilities, we do find that most of our guests opt to rent a vehicle during the stay to really explore the island. There are endless secluded beaches the length of the island, waiting to be explored! For a great day out on the ocean exploring or fishing, we would be more than to refer you to some of our preferred boat charters, with your own captain. Paddle boards, kayaks, and jet skis are also available for rent, as well as snorkeling and diving gear. The apartment was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. There was five restaurants, three grocery stores, a bakery, and a liquor store (with an amazing slection of wines) all within walking distances. We have stayed in Eleuthera twice before for periods of 5 to 6 weeks and really appreciated this time having a backup generator! The dishwasher was also a nice addition. Dom the Super was just great. He answered all our questions very quickly. The apartment had three patios and two of them had a beautiful view of the ocean and Laughing Bird Cay.
