This was a wonderful place to accommodate our family of 5\. The condo is conveniently located right by the pool/hot tub which was so nice to use after a long day of skiing. We walked to the Ratskeller for pizza since it is a short jaunt across the road. Check-in and check-out was easy peasy and the condo was very clean when we arrived. First, the place is great and close to everything in Government Camp. We enjoyed one night out of three because the power went out and there was no backup generator. The entire condo complex basically shut down, as well as all but two businesses in Government Camp. There was no communication from the front office to see if we were okay or needed anything and we sat in a cold house for two days without heat. No refund or credit was given from Vacasa because it was weather related and they are “firm on their no refund decision” so we didn’t really have the best time. Upset that my friends didn’t enjoy themselves and flew from Chicago to ski, but the resorts were shut down as well and a state of emergency was called for the area, yet we still can’t be refunded. We had to complete our checkout in pitch black conditions with only small flashlights. This is not a dig on the house, it was as described and had we not had the power outage, it would have been much more enjoyable. ##### Stephen B. The deck has a great dining set and very nice Weber grill, which we enjoyed. The keypad died while we were there and no key was left in the lockbox.
