Stay in our cozy camper five minutes from the Schoodic area of Acadia National Park where you can drive the Schoodic Loop Road with spectacular views of the rugged coastline and islands. Hike or bike the trails, enjoy wildlife watching or fishing as well. At the southern tip of Schoodic Peninsula is Schoodic Point, quite possibly the prettiest spot in all of Acadia National Park. And since it's located in the Schoodic portion of one of the most visited national parks in the US, it only sees about 10% of the tourist traffic the main area of the park on Mt. The rental is in a great location and it was nice to only be an hour from the National Park. Check in and out was very easy and the host responded quickly to any inquiries. I also appreciated the additional fixings for the coffee like half and half and sugar. It was a nice touch to our stay. And the bedding and blankets were perfect to keep us warm during the cooler nights. It is a cozy place for two to share and the shuffling of luggage can be complicated at times. The binder mentions unpacking and then storing your luggage, but there is really no place to put unpacked items. This is also not a place best suited for those who are tall and I am a little disappointed this wasn't stated in the description. We struggled with both the shower/bathroom and sleeping comfortably on the bed. My mom is 6 feet tall. I'm also not sure how thoroughly the camper was cleaned before we checked in. We found a moldy and used coffee filter and grounds in the coffee pot. Nothing we couldn't clean...but not a great start to our morning. Overall the camper supplied us with exactly what we needed, a close location to Acadia to call our home base while we were exploring. I'm grateful to have found this booking and to have been able to stay. ##### Alisha R.
