Table wasn't big enough for 8 people so had to use the extra table and chairs in the closet. Very minor but not enough plates for 8 so just need some extra cutlery set. It was spotless, bright and in a convenient location to the University of Scranton, 28 minutes door to door. The gated community was also nice and the staff at the gate were very friendly. The property is well maintained and clean, and everything worked as expected. Great TV and we appreciated the bluetooth speakers to be able to play music. We had a minor issue getting the registration number to get into the gated community until the very last minute, but the owners made sure that they texted it to us the morning that we were arriving so it all worked out in the end (thank you!). The only thing that was a surprise was that only 2 windows in the house had screens, and it was summer. With no A/C, and not being able to open all the windows or the sliding doors due to the mosquitoes, it was a little stuffy. Fortunately 2 of the rooms had ceiling fans and there were 2 portable fans provided. Only other minor surprises were that there is a Keurig but no drip coffee maker, but that was hardly a big deal, and we were a little surprised to see the instructions to take your trash with you and dispose of it outside of the community... Lastly, would have loved to have a sheet of instructions about things like WiFi, trash, check-out procedures, etc. on the fridge or on the kitchen table. The host (in particular) Stephen was truly amazing, he was very fast to respond to all my questions & concerns, very friendly individual. The home does have Air Conditioning units installed in the living room and 2 other bedrooms, and portable fans in the other, which kept the guests cool. They enjoyed the surround sound entertainment system and the deck area, (even saw some deers). It was very clean, cozy, extremely organized and stocked up with a lot of extra goodies.
