The cabin is perfect in every way - just off the highway and nestled in the woods but not isolated. Very clean with comfortable bedding. We cooked all our meals in and the kitchen is well stocked. We really wanted to visit Banff, Yoho and Kootenay but preferred to also stay somewhere away from all the crowds. This cabin was great for that. It was still a drive to get to each place but we were pretty centrally located to all the places we wanted to visit. It's located in a quiet, scenic location that is easily accessible from the highway. Close to Golden and perfect for skiing at nearby resorts (we skied Lake Louise). If you’re looking for a little peace and quiet after a day of amazing hiking, look no further.
